Hello, I have a site that is approching 1 year old. For a four month period it was recieving 6000+ views a month and making me around 20$/month. It was taken down for a somewhat long time and now it is recieving around 8000+ views a month but only making me about 2$/month. What has happened to it that my Adsense is so low? Thanks... Nicolas
i see your impression went up but how about clicks? has that gone up too by the same ratio? if CTR also went up, then either you have been smart priced or advertisers are not paying that much for your niche these days

Maybe the cost per click that the adwords users are given to your keyword is low. Maybe is good to look for more profitable keywords.
maybe you 'll need to use your filters for higher paying ads and have your site reviewed bu people here at DP for them to make relevant and constructive comments to your business site status.
The ad colors are nice, and blend in, but, when you look at them they scream "ADS" and no one wants that, make them the same color as the background maybe use blue links. im sure youll make more money.
being down for any length of time is never a good thing, and people will regain trust after a while, just keep it up and make sure it doesn't go down again for a lengthy time peroid.
If you have adsense on every page and you see a big discrepancy between visits from your logs and impressions from adsense then it could possibly be bots that are hitting your site. Bots generally just scrape a page and so will not load the javascript that adsense is shown from. You need to analyse the logs more and find out where the visitors are coming from. How long they are staying and what actions they are performing on the site.
No, like I said, December was the first fill month it was up in a long time, and it jumped by 2000 views from the last full month it was up. As for the other comments, my traffic is mainly US, Canadian and scandanavian or something. Nothing crappy. But I will take into consideration what you all have had to say... It just makes me wonder because I have not changed anything since it first started. The links are the same color, no difference in background, yet so many months ago I was making dollars while now I am making pennies.
