How do you raise your Page eCPM?

Hey everyone. I'm pretty well acquainted with Adsense and things, and I know all the obvious/ basic stuff, so don't bother posting any of that. However, I've been getting a low eCPM with Adsense lately. I'm getting plenty of clicks/ impressions lately, but my earnings for the amount of clicks I'm getting seems low. Does anyone have any good suggestions/ things they do to get ads on their site that give a bit more money to you when someone clicks on them?

(And yes, I do realize that certain keywords simply do not generate high paying ads with Adsense, but I'm interested in some better tips than that :p)

    ... lately ...
    is very relative

if your site is NOT about CURRENT season / christmas / new year
then of course you may miss out lots of $ as many do these past many weeks. then you simply have to wait until "normal" season/traffic starts again in a few weeks or so.

on seasonal sites such as mine - traffic and eCPM has been as usual and that means several k$ more than annual average.

there are seasons when hundreds of millions shift their focus from every day's topics to purely higher topics and forget about regular daily life. hence many every day's topics substantially drop in their eCPM. that's a common phenomena during such periods as december/january.

if the low eCPM manifested already BEFORE early/mid november - then it might be a different reason for low eCPM such as global economy crisis, etc.

Your niche may have less advertisers this time around. Focus on developing more content-sites on your current domain, which you could call "sub-sites" of your main site. Make each sub site focus on another niche, so that you can potentially increase yoru revenue.
