Gtech you attack RP all the time, ALL the time. I do not like Huck as I find him a dishonest/flip flopper. In your own logic though you hold RP to a much, much higher standard than yourself. Just to go negative is fine, to lie about it and use such methods is the point, but nice try on twisting it. I had to rush this, battery about to die. --- BTW I will debate anyone, where you get I wont is simply beyond me... I actually like debating with people I like, Northpoint for instance I have debated with several times, Bogart as well. I agree with them sometimes, sometimes I don't.
Thank you, Wade. I don't actually know too much about the substance of the negative ads from any side. I merely respond to what it seems to me, based on admittedly scant evidence. I can't wrap my mind around holding a conference to say you won't be running an ad - then showing the ad, to the media. Then, the ad gets out, somehow. Again, to me, he would have been knighted with the golden character medal if he came forward to acknowledge an ad was made, but, in the environment you're talking about, says: -Hey...I think I could make a few bucks shilling for the man, don't you think? Anyway, with respect to everyone - best of luck in the season ahead. And congratulations again on this win, Wade.
Grim, thank you for holding me to a higher standard. RP's racism isn't an attack, it's well documented and as I recently illustrated again, he's defended it in the past. As a "well reasoned" person (Good Lord, I'm digging low here!), I'd like to think you were concerned with it, but you've proven that wrong. Huckabee didn't lie about anything. You claiming he did, while giving me the laugh of the evening with "but, but, but I didn't start this post to bash Huckabee!" is probably the highlight. Don't get used to me giving you attention though. I've simply viewed (for the first time in a while) some of your posts tonight for a good laugh.
I definitely do not hold you to a higher standard, personally I think the dirt outside has more intelligence. Racism you claim, still have not proven. You however rip on him for more than racism. You claim other things such as 'tearing down American, blaming America, never accomplished anything' need I go on? Show me where he's racist and I'll be there with you, so far you've done nothing of the sort. Using no named blogs for 'proof' using a few snippets is far from proof of racism. He did lie, read the thread again. Stating all copies are bootlegs but his own campaign sent them out is not lying? I guess you've changed the definition now have you? I didn't start the thread to bash Huck, I started it as I read the article and figured others should see it. There is a difference from sharing knowledge to mindlessly bashing someone, you know like you like to do with the mindless bashing. Gtech when you're not even close to my level, keep trying though and maybe one day we wont all be laughing at you I unlike you do not lie or believe crap to go along with my ideas..
I appreciate that. I wouldn't have it any other way. I have more respect for islamists than I do for you. Actually I did prove it a few days ago and sourced it. That your head is buried in the sand, as usual, isn't my problem. Ron Paul actually defended his racist comments. Guerilla used to defend them too Ron Paul does blame America first. His performances in debates and the media have all proven this. Ron Paul has never accomplished anything meaningful as a politician. He's never led, he's never been accountable, he's passed meaningful legislation, he's never worked with others. It's his way, or the highway. He's flip flopped on immigration/border initiatives. I back everything up with sources. Even went so far as to source RP's very own words defending his racist comments. But here we go with the dishonesty again, claiming no such exists, that it never happened. I did that the other day, see the Reagan thread. I quoted RP's own words and the words of his campaign manager, defending his past racist comments. Therefore, I'm left truly believing that your claim is dishonest. You would not be with me, as I've already done this. Don't pee on my head and tell me it's raining. He did not lie. In his interview, he clearly noted the ad was pulled, however it might appear if some stations could not change their programming in time. You, of all people here, are in NO position to talk about lying Right, and you probably believe people are stupid enough to believe that. Meanwhile, I "share" a racist article that Ron Paul wrote, then "share" a news story (not a noname blog, as you have dishonestly suggested) where Ron Paul actually defended his racist comments (took responsibility for and defended), and you call it bashing. But when you create a thread to bash Huckabee with dishonesty, you are simply "sharing knowledge!" Classic! I just love that rationale and reasoning! You are correct. I would never stoop that low. I would never read my candidates racist remarks, read his defensive in his own words of such, then claim to have never seen them. Narcissism prevails Goodnight grim. You may have the last word. I know it is important to you. You've convinced me that having you on ignore, was the best decision I've made on DP, and back you shall go.
face it...if we prove him wrong, we are wrong. If we prove him right, we are wrong...there is not winning with these lunatic RP supporters.
I'll hold you to that Nope Gtech I responded and you continued to act like I didn't. You best check that thread again, thanks for the easy ownage of you yet again. I'm not even going to get into that now, but thanks again for the easy ownage of you Gtech. You admit you do bash him at every corner for more than just 'racism' Again I have responded to this already Gtech, I do not see it being racist. Learn to read would you, it'd make it better for all of us here. That way you could stop pretending to not see posts when it's convenient. Gtech nice twist. I was talking about the other article, 'bootleg' copies, when the station got a copy direct from his campaign not 'bootleg' You are in no position to talk about lying, being truthful or intelligent. No Gtech there are several things wrong here. #1 It was to share knowledge, yes it was a bad thing on Huck but it was not baseless bashing. #2 You constantly bash RP in every thread you possibly can, that is actual bashing. #3 You use no name blogs all the time, once in awhile you link to other sources, but not everything from those no named blogs were the quotes of RP now were they? #4 You do see the difference from posting a thread about a fact, compared to mindlessly bashing someone in every thread possible do you not? Nope Gtech, talk about stooping low. I responded to those comments, and you still claim I didn't. I responded as to why I don't see them being racist, you continued and still continue to act like I didn't respond. I am not claiming to not have read your post, I as I stated before, you know in that post you claim I did not make, do not see them being racist. Yet again where did you get your degree to be a shrink? Nope, having the last word is only important to correct the pure and utter crap you spew.
I'm a 'lunatic' now am I. I wont hold my breath for Gtech and or you to prove me wrong - I unlike you however will admit when I am wrong..
10% of the people in Iowa are lunatics apparently. Sets the stage nicely for the fascists. Btw, GTech has been bashing Paul for months, long before it became fashionable to be a Huckaboo supporter. But then, that's the difference between people who vote with their herd, and the people who vote for ideas and values.
Just remember though RP hasn't earned the scrutiny of the media, but he has earned the scrutiny of Gtech and others for months
hehe, when can we get unique with the criticism. "flip flop" is soooo 2004. Before I saw Huckabee on Jay Leno I didn't really care for him to much. In reality though, he seems pretty honest and a very likable person. Does that make him a great president? No. He seems to have some fairly radical ideas but I'm looking for someone with morals who is wanting to push for change. I think he stands a good chance at becoming President for that reason alone.
What morals does Huckabee have? What changes is he pushing for? I just don't see it. At all. I'll admit he is charismatic and that he apparently has a lot of people fooled through that charisma, is that enough to win the presidency? Maybe in the past but I think Bush's immense failures are going to make the country as the whole a bit more careful about who they vote for in 2008.
He is against abortion, same sex marriage, and seems to have an interest in solving some economic issues that I would also consider moral issues. Those are a few of the hot-button moral issues right now that I support his stance on.
Well Ron Paul covers all of those as well. Except, he's got a little more Christian tolerance when it comes to people's lifestyle choices. Do you know that Ron Paul has a House Bill, called the Sanctity of Life Act, that few Congressmen have endorsed, that if passed, would immediately repeal Rowe v. Wade and remove Abortion from the Federal Jurisdiction? It's as simple as calling your Congressman, and asking why they haven't become a co-sponsor on H.R. 2597. That is, if abortion is really an issue you are willing to campaign for.
