Anyone have any recommendations on good domain appraisal services? I've tried a few but just wanted to get some other opinions. Thanks.

Haven't used any, and i think hitting couple of domain name and webmaster forums for appraisal is much better than ordering an appraisal service, you get varied responses from actual experienced domainers and you can easily ask how they came to that conclusion.

There is also Estibot.com which will give you a quick, rough estimate for free.

Of course the humans on the forums can often do better. But each domain is unique and each sale brings in unique circumstances. It is not like realestate where there are comparable sales to reference, except in the most general sense. The best appraisers can easily be 50% off - plus or minus - of what a domain sells for.

Estibot's appraisals are (sometimes) useless. You can use it to get a EXTREMELY rough idea... EXTREMELY rough.

Best is to ask on the forums and see what people think.

None. Never pay for appraisals & even most if not all the free appraisal websites aren't very good. Best way is to post here on DP & other domain forums.

Agree with the majority of replies.

Paid appraisals from sites like Godaddy, Afternic, Sedo, etc. is good when you target an end user, e.g. a company who would like to buy a domain for their own purposes.

For that very same name you will not get a fraction of the appraised price if you intend selling them to domainers. Then I would suggest that you post on forums such as this to get a realistic market price.

Be Careful when getting appraisals from people on webmaster forums or anywhere. A lot of the appraisals I got on DP have been from newbies with no experience buying and selling domains.

I would try to find some seasoned experts and ask them.

Agreed. Or go with domain forums like Namepros of DNForum.
