hi, it's obligated to use landing page with cpa offer or i can put a direct link of my offer in my adword . thank,
Depends on the offer, but many affiliates like to create a landing page so that you can pre-sell the user, and it helps alot with the quality score.
You have to send Google Adwords traffic to another url besides that of the merchant. Unless the merchant is not doing adwords at all I'm pretty sure you can, but most are. For Yahoo and MSN the same. You can't have more than 1 url coming up in the Sponsored results for any keyword phrase.
Yes u can use direct link to affiliate page using adwords but as experienceadvertising said google allow only 1 URL for each keyword,so ur bids must be higher than the other user promoting with same display URL.
But what if you decided to put an unregistered domain on the "Display URL" box, and your actual Affiliate ID on the destination? Will that work, since the new domain won't be listed on the search results....
be prepared to pay more for your clicks cause you won't be the only one using the same page, there will be others and thats why google will give it to the highest bidder. With your own landing page your quality score will definitely improve and the clicks should be cheaper.
What I have learned from experience is that LP are better because you can do so much with it.. quick example. I just switch one offer from one company to another because company b was paying me $2.25 more for the same product.. Since I always use LP pages and have php redirects, all I did was change the php file and that was it.. I didn't have to go to google or yahoo and switch links, etc .. which would have wasted time and change my quality score ... It's best to use LP's.. Time, Conversions and Quality Scores are worth a lot of money and LP's can help you in those aspects.. Stan
It's up to you what you do but don't forget that if you put it straight into your adwords campaign then you will be given your affiliate network all of your adwords stats information through the referrer. They can then use this to see how certain keywords are performing and then use them. Not sure if any networks would go down this root, but it's better to be safer than sorry.
Like John269 just said, I am can get very paranoid sometimes and I hate to think that the networks have all my best CONVERTING keywords right in the palm of their hands.. All because I was being a bit lazy and used the direct method.. Don't get me wrong, I do use direct linking sometimes, but that's when I am looking to test a new campaign, but as soon as I see that the campaign converts, I create LP's for it. Stan
