You run that many servers by yourself and still manage to keep your level of quality:eek:? That is really impressive.

I am still working on getting funds, but cc's are not that easy to get at my place. Will buy as soon as I can.

By the way, can you make something different?
I was thinking, maybe a custom os to use as little ram as possible and comparitively limited bandwidth.
Like for example 64MB ram, 5 Gb diskspace ,2Mbps port = 500GB, no control panel for say $7.

This would be great for running stuff which might not require much ram.

    yes.
Its mainly, $15 is for hardware and other basic softwares to manage a server.

control panel are not really neccessary to run a server. However for ease for customers, control panels are given, for faster adding/removing/configuring. Ths extra $ for control panels are then charged. (amount vary depending on the server license fee purchased by hosting seller)

well, you can do them manually via ssh/root or root/adding zones files and such.

Plus there are free control panels that will let you do EVERYTHING like cpanel or all those adding/deleting/creating accounts/resellers/domains/subdomains, etc...

Example: ServerCP very basic version or I believe zpanel

Having a support/billing system helps. The OS alone needs 64 megs of ram so that wouldn't be possible.

If you know your way around SSH, you can manually install apache with PHP and bind and then configure the virtualhosts yourself. I also offer a free control panel called LXadmin which seems to be enough for most users.

yes, but there are a few flavours of linux and bsd which are very frugal on resource usage, some even manage with 16-20mb ram. That will leave around 32-48 mb for the sites, which is around the same as whatI assume is available in your 128mb plan withcontrol panel and your default os's.

    Hello

I want to try LxAdmin hosting and never found such good and cheap plans.
Why you are not recommending 128MB RAM package with Lxadmin?

I need to host maximum of 2-3 websites. I am not sure about LxAdmin with 128MB RAM. Can you advice ?
Will I get a normal loading speed or too slow ?

    Thanks

If they aren't resource intensive it might be fine but I always recommend at least VPS plan 256 minimum. Too many people were getting VPS plan 128 and then complaining it kept going down.

    Hello
    Thank you for the reply.
Well, I dont think it is resource intensive. I have 3 websites right here, and all 3 are not using any mysql database. They are simply some php file only.

They also will not take lot of bandwidth. I want to try the lxadmin.Thats the only reason why I am here.

Question: Do you offer any money back period?
Question: How much time it will take to setup the vps?
Question: Can you configure the CentOS for less RAM usage?
Question: Who will install the LxAdmin cp ?

    Thank you
    Vivek

Question: Do you offer any money back period?
You have 5 days to try it.

Question: How much time it will take to setup the vps?
6 hours on average but probably sooner.

Question: Can you configure the CentOS for less RAM usage?
I usually disable unnecessary services that i know aren't needed. You might be able to get a little bit more bang out of it but you'd have to do it.

Question: Who will install the LxAdmin cp ?
    I do

May I ask is the bandwidth calculated in full duplex?

    (eg 10Mbit = 3.3TB in + 3.3TB out = 6.6TB Total)

No, its 10Mbit in + out as I understand it but I haven't really tested trying to push both, only out.

    10Mbit one way = approximately 3300GB
If I'm given Full Duplex, it means 10Mbit both ways so it will give me 6.6TB bandwidth in total

    Thank for your reply :)

Yes, you can run torrentflux on any of the VPS's. Howevever, I recommend VPS 512 for that. It depends on how many torrents or how big they are.
