Wow! "MySpace is now the largest source of search traffic for Google, accounting for over 8% of their inbound traffic" I was wondering why google searches seemed have a lot of 'my space crowd' type searches.
Yep.. Shame that.. To many Push the Button type ads now! I guess thats no different from watching Fox telly (here in Australia at least). Everything that Murdoch touches seems to turn into Ads. Want to know how to tighten your abdominals? Turn on Fox news for the answer </rant> Cheers James
This is a great and very interesting source that you got here, lpstong. Thank you very much for sharing this one to us. So that's the reason why there never was a myspace acquisition by the big "G". $400 million is enough reason why the big "G" is eyeing on myspace and it's good that they lost the bid because if they won, what else is there for people in the internet world to enjoy without having the name of Google beside the toolbar?
Myspace sucks! They have gotten so anti-spam that they almost sued my favorite affiliate network out of business!
i have been a webmaster/websocialite for 10 years and i ahve never heard of it.try and find somebody except someones granma that has not heard of myspace. if google buy it it would only be to own the competion.
Ok again for the record. Google did not buy Myspace. News Corp which is owned by Rupert Murdoch who also owns Fox Network owns Myspace.
OK. Read the thread. Google did not buy Myspace. Read all the thread people. interested but did not buy. Why dont people read up on the theard or do a search on releed item.
get off your high horse. we get it ok. i read the thread and was speaking hypothetically, stop trolling the thread
Than get your head out of the sand. And stop commenting realistically or hypothetically. People like you regardless of reality or hypothetically lead others to believe that Google did buy Myspace because they simply can not do a search of the topic before making a statement like yours. Considering that you have the thread(apparently several times) You are trolling. Get you head out of the sand and stop contributing hypothetically to rumors that arent true.
I don't think Google is / was interested in MySpace. First of all they have Orkut. Plus MySpace is filled with spam...
he's still the "CEO" or something I think his contract is like 3mil per year, Idk but as a whole, the "TOM" account is the "team of myspace"
