Disclaimer: I am one of QuoteSignal's founders.

Hi blacksnow, take a look at www.quotesignal.com Take a look and see what's being offered.

I'm assuming that you need an e-commerce account. Just click the "Get Quotes" on the front page and you'll get three quotes from three different merchant account providers. They're good for 24 hours.

If you're not sure what's going to be the best deal for you, use the Recommendation engine on top. It'll calculate your costs and tell you which one we think will be the best for your business/site.

The whole thing is free to use and we won't even ask you for any info until you're ready to do. Nobody will hassle you.

When you are ready, we'll just have the merchant provider contact you to open your account.

I'd love to hear any feedback whether you use us to open an account or not.

does ikobo.com provide merchant account? i dont think so because i talk with there staff last year and he said if he find out me selling products through ikobo.com then he will lock my account and throw me out of ikobo.com... he said ikobo.com is a money transfering service and should not be use for selling goods or products...

but xoom provide merchant account and no painful chargeback and reversals are allowed over xoom... and i am really happy with xoom since she send me the money in 3 days...

The problem is I offer company formation service but worldpay and 2checkout rejected my applications even I am based in the UK. The motivation was highly risky business, but why?

To tell you the truth, for a big amount transaction dont rely on services like paypal/moneybookers/alertpay, try authorize.net, worldpay or 2checkout. I strongly recommend 2Checkout, till far never have heard such big scams for 2checkout like PP and MB.

    GoogleCheckout.

If you use Authorize.net you need a merchant account with your bank. Authorize.net is BY far the MOST professional way to go because it integrates with a merchant account direct with your bank.

You can try 2Checkout. You even can accept payment from paypal if you're using 2CO right now.

From all payment processors/merchant accounts I know, PayByCash offers most options for customers.

    2CO or E-Gold.
However, I am still scared of 2CO since they do not have a policy to protect their vendors. I am seller and have been selling things but my account now has a minus balance because of "friendly frauds".
