I joined them a while ago for a few months and at that time, it was convenient for me to have all of the info + tools that I required in one place. I had no problems with them and found the forum very helpful. I only left because I had other areas of interest that I wanted to pursue.

I'm hoping that wasn't directed towards me? Seeing how I've been here for a year longer than you?

Or it could be as simple as that forum recommending this one.

I'm not sure I understand the significance of your observation.

Well I am a member of wealthy affiliate too. I have only had a membership about a month, but I would have to agree with the other wealthy affiliate members who responded to this thread that it is well worth the time you spend there.

The tools they give you themselves are worth the $30/month you pay and not to mention their affiliate program which has recurring monthly commissions. I have already gotten two commissions already so my membership is practically free.

If you are looking for a way to get started in affiliate or internet marketing, it is a good place to start if you are willing to cough up the $30/month.

I was also a member at wealthyaffiliate.com some time ago in the early 2007 . I could not keep up with their style, especially some senior members at the forum were enough and more condescending. There is no more information in wealthyaffiliate that what i get here but they seem to have structured the information and indeed the info is more ordered. Its certainly not a scam even though it didn't worked for me

But you can't be an affiliate for them unless you are a member.

I was a member for a month and did not find it that useful. It wasn't terrible. There was some good information, but it wasn't anything I haven't seen elsewhere so I didn't feel the need to spend that much a month since I already had a hosting account and didn't need their site builder system.

Of course there are no secrets ... it takes a lot of hard work and trial and error to succeed in this industry (like anything else)...

BUT, it sure helps to have some guidance ;)

Handy community to be a part of, but the material isn't some magical stuff. Worth $30 in my opinion, but don't expect miracles.

Unfortunately, most people want to believe that if they pay money - they should get some magical formula for success. OR they want to automatically believe that if you pay for anything that uses the word "money" - it's an auto-ripoff/scam.

It's better this way... some will succeed, others won't. The ones who don't put forth the effort will believe it was a scam the whole time... while the ones making money fully understand what it takes.

    Good luck to all!

I'm not one to post "paid testimonials" (unless the pay includes fried chicken :D) but here's my take on WA.

I joined in May 2007 after reading about it on some forum (don't remember which one). I never really "used" my membership though. What I joined for was to get assistance with my PPC campaigns. I sent PMs to the owners of WA and they said "check out the WA forums; people will assist you. If you still need help, we're here." I then found I was too lazy to do that and canceled my membership. But, what I did find through my 1-hour perusal of the forums was that there's a lot of information for a newbie, although most of that relates to affiliate marketing (what else can you expect? Fried chicken?)

I never used any of the tools they have on there but my impression is that it can all be very helpful if you can't spell "maek money olnine". If you're a seasoned marketer, I'm not sure you'll find anything of use.

In a nutshell, there is way too much info out there and it is pretty hard to get a grip on a way to get some income online. WA just breaks it down with an 8 week action plan in a way that makes it easier to understand and get going.

I, like many that have responded to this thread have been scammed, ripped off and have become very skeptical to pretty much everything online that tells you that you can make a fortune doing this or that, but I would have to genuinely say I have learned a lot through WA and that it is well worth it (at least for me) and all you are getting is knowledge and a push in the right direction, it is up to you to do something with it.

If you are skeptical (as you should be), I can't blame you and I wish you luck as I have been where your at before.

My take is that they will probably give you all the information you already have. You and I both know one thing. You can't start making $1000s per one day. Like I always say, if someone can it is becuase they are on to a secret. Business models only thrive because of their secrets. Why give away a secret for a low price. It will no longer be a secret and the original business will fail. See what I mean?

I do agree BUT WA is not supposed to provide "secrets"

They are supposed to train people with techniques and an understanding of the PPC systems

In the long run anyway (1 year for instance) WA is expensive
