I nearly missed this one, but check out this adsense unit and see whats for sale.

It seems that selling links from ranked .gov domains is perfectly fine as long as your paying your adwords premiums. I hope the Google employee that approved that ad gets fired.

Just another example of Google's double standards. They will penalize you for selling links but they sure don't have a problem taking your money to advertise the fact.

i could not have put it better myself. google has so many double standards, corporations get away with all kinds and remain in the index because google does not want to bring attention to itself by going to court with them. but they do what they can to the struggling webmasters because we can just about pay our hosting fee's in some cases, so google wont need to worrie about any letters from any of our lawyers.

not true, anyone can link to a .gov site

how can you not see that google is choosing who can sell links and who cant, how many threads have you seen about sites being dropped because they sold links on their site.

yet www.isellpagerank.com has 8 pages listed in googles index, has a PR4
i can believe this site is indexed, look at its keywords -

high search engine ranking, page rank, search
engine optimization, buy text link, website promotion internet marketing,
web site link popularity, buy one way links, increase pagerank, web site
link, search engine, improve your page rank, effective internet marketing,
one way links, site link, search engine ranking, link popularity, site link
popularity, website page, website promotion, text link, web text link, site
rank, buy links, effective marketing, internet marketing, web site
popularity, internet marketing services, increase rank, link services, page
rank improvement, internet marketing services, efficient link building
services, link building services, effective link building, link building,
web site popularity, high ranking search engine, web site

if that is not keyword stuffing then i dont know what is.

With all these "Google Says" thread, I really hope that there won't be a day when the capital G stands for Google and not God, and what we are suppose to read and obey is the Adsense TOS and not the 10 Commandments.
