I've done some searching around and have found that I don't think Firefox has a browser for mobile devices. It's about time they make one! Does anyone know anything?
i think it would be a great idea but there is a lot of competiton on mobiles and firefox'x succes is made on the back of hatred for microsoft, so it would be harder to market. imo
you can install firefox directly to your flash drive and it will still work... Couldnt stand using IE when i was in high school, so i installed firefox onto my flash drive (they always threatened to terminate my account for using software not installed by them, but I just cant use IE) I think there are a few portable firefox applications already... http://mobilefirefox.com/ http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable http://portablefirefox.mozdev.org/ (the first few google results)
No, I don't want a portable Firefox browser. I want a browser for my mobile device, i.e. phone or pda. But, debunker, I see your point. I guess it wouldn't be worth it for them maybe.
well, i've read a while ago that Google will launch their own Gphones with their own applications next year. probably the will use firefox browser.
