I have been using CJ for years now and have been making a very good income from it and things are just fine for me so i didnt want to try anything new. After all these ebay discussions in CJ forum here in DP i have decided to give it a try but i have one very important question that i couldnt find answer to. What is considered ACRU? A new member who places a bid or BIN OR A new member who places a bid or BIN and pays for the item and actually purchase it Can anyone explain how that works?!
All the person has to do is place a bid, doesn't have to win the item, or obviously BIN but it takes as little as a bid to get the $25
so ebay gives you 25$ if someone you refer places a bid? can't somoene abuse the system by creating fake ebay accounts?
hhhmm...that's a good question that I like to see answered as well. As finicky as eBay and cj can be, they must be doing something to prevent fraud, but how? Anybody? Jen
one thing is that i really dont see how ebay would be able to combat fraud, since its so easy to make a fake ebay account and bid on things ( from ivegot.info ) . all you need is a visa gift card (which costs like 6~$) . so you spend 6$, and earn 19$... do that all day and...make a good income.
yes, all its takes is a refered person to place a bid (ie becomes "active"), not necessarily win and you receive the commission, and yes you can create fake ids and click your own link but how long do you think that will go on for before you are banned from both ebay and CJ? Is a quick $50/75 worth losing all your potential future earnings? I think ebay and CJ may have this covered.
I heard somewhere here on DP that CJ and Ebay takes a closer look on where your ACRU's come from. If they all come from your ip, you'll get banned in no time. Actually I think you'll get troubles if they all come from your local area as well... Dunno about the last part, but I'm pretty sure they keep track on ip adresses to prevent fraud.
I'm not 100% percent sure but I would think that changing IPs won't help because a 30-day cookie is still dropped. Also, a single affiliate refering a large number of new members that aren't actually winning anything would raise red flags.
well you can remove cookies though before every signup. so then you sell the ebay accounts since there are lots of people that want to buy them all over the place but i think this is way too complicated lol.
That's not a problem. You can win at 1 cent! There are plenty of BIN's on eBay for 1 cent. There is something more
Why would you guys want to discuss defrauding the company that sends you checks every month makes no sense theft is theft plain and simple. It is just wrong
this company loves to screw every single person that is signed up with it. they are not good people which is why we can easily discuss it.
Sounds very time consuming, and the profit isn't great compared to the risk. Better off sending legit users.
I would never risk it. however if your SMART im pretty sure you could get away with it, but the ? is... for how long.
