Thx! Even my post and pages are the same on the .com and .org domain now! Will google/yahoo index my site twice? I guess that's a stupid question but I don't know the answer! And is it possible to keep the domain extension the same.. For example, when someone enters phonuts.com it stays phonuts.com and doesn't change to .org...
No they won't index your site twice now, since .com version is doing a 301 redirect to your .org version, it will not have any effect on search engines. For keeping the URL same you would have to frame which is not advisable from search engine's point of view, let it do what it is doing now, its the best thing you could do with .com version of the name.
Oke, i know iframes are bad for search engine so thank you for the explanation dman_***2008***! I'll just let it go with the flow!
Thank you! But the .com domain wasn't taken for 4 months so why would anyone register it all of a sudden...
Because your site is gaining popularity, and there a lot of people who read digitalpoint. Any of us would love to pay $7 for a .com where the .org is popular.
How is it possible that the estimated value can be $xx and $x.xxx? What's the correct value? tanujdude91, please explain why you say it's low $xx...
