1st of all i would like to say that I don't mean to sound mean, in any way,I'm simply stating my opinion. The first Jewish person i met was in a synagogue 4 years ago, for a field trip. He really was a jerk, I mean, extremely disrespectful, bashing all other religions left and right. The second was a salesman at the mall. He ripped me off. I know there are good Jews, but i simply haven't met one yet. Along with my experiences, I constantly hear about how Jews are penny pinchers, and extremely arrogant. Even my peers hate Jews, people draw swastikas all over, and other jew-hating things, on bathroom walls, or on desks. %25 of the class below me has swastikas on there school notebooks. So, i am just wondering if Jews are this disliked in other places, or if this is just really bad where i live. Again, I'm not trying to offend ANYONE.
No idea really mate, I'm not religious in the slightest, Jews are no better or worse in my opinion than Muslims or anyone else that follows a religion. I had an Israeli girlfriend for a couple of years that was Jewish and to be honest I didn't even think about her religion apart from when she was fasting on Yom Kippur and wouldn't have any food or drink. Or sex.
I had an exactly opposite experience, the Jews I met are extremely polite, intelligent and respects other religions.
I think there was a tale regarding a few blind men feeling an elephant, one touch his side and said he was as sturdy as the wall. The other felt his tusk and said it was like a spear. The third touch his trunk and said it felt like a snake. I think most of us will know this story, the moral of the story is we need to look at the whole picture, not the sight in front of us only.
I like met this guy, once, and he wore glasses, and he was like, you know, really mean because he wore glasses and everybody hated him. Thinks Ray-Bans make him kewl. Another time, this guy with glasses, like totally refused to make good on his promise. He had a burger place that said "best burger in the world!" I thought it tasted like, um, you know, crap? And I wanted the dude to throw me a bone, or somethin' - free drink, you know? NOTHING. Complete downer. I know there are good dudes with glasses, but, I mean, c'mon - I've met TWO dudes that were real class A jerks, u know? Plus, all those movies n stuff that show what jerks dudes with glasses are. And they always got punched in school, so everybody just HAS to hate 'em. I even saw sum graffiti about one, on the toilet wall. DUDES. Is it me? Or are dudes with glasses just hated everywhere? Before you go leaping to stoopid conclusions, keep in mind - I've done my work. I've met like not one, but TWO dudes with glasses.
That was quite a big hobby for a lot of politicians, hard to stop them. Even for the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, they blame on Jewish conspiracy and 911 sprout out even more conspiracies. Doesn't seem to end. Considering the number of limited number of Jews, I guess there is at least one conspiracy for each Jew.....
My opinion is I treat everyone the same. I met tons of people from every race and religion and there are those who are jerks. Unfortunately. For racism, the cause of that is ignorance and stupidity. For people hating jews is like people hating everyone else. It is an excuse.

You are welcome. I get a lot of rep that the DP member thinks is a plus rep (green) but because it is given inside The Digital Point category it doesn't give me any points. And because I am about the most anti-neocon here GTech and his Crazy Gang give me red rep outside of this area because the rep system is fatally flawed. They just choose any post outside of this area (no matter what) and drop some red lol. You will find most people in P&R that are against Bush will have very little rep. It's no big mystery how people like Mia and GTeh and cabin boy d16man have so much fake green rep.
Me too wisdomtool, me and my dad had many jewish friends whene we were in new york. Dont believe the stereotypes and get to know each person individually.
I personally don't have any prejudices about jews, but what i know from facts is they control the media and finance, then i read Protocols of the learned elders of zion. It was a good read for me. I don't hate jews. But i do hate Israel for its continued oppression against Palestinian people and not respecting 4th Geneva Convention. But one thing i have seen in jews is, whenever you or criticize them for their mistakes, they wear a holocaust mask and start calling you a nazi supporter.
