CTR depends on your site content and ad placement. also on the type of site and traffic you have. if the traffic is highly targated and you have good content, you will get good CTR if you are doing the right job with ad placement. one of my sites gets as much as 35% CTR and one gets less than 1%
exactly...I have a friend who once created some MFA (made for adsense) sites and he had up to 40% CTR.
it depends on the website visitors..if id ask you do you click other adsense ads in the website you do visit? you must be thankful that somebody did click,. unlike my adsense account i only earn $1.35 in the year 2007
maybe you put as in worng places or attractive ads apper in ur web site that was happend with me from one of my sites i never got more than 0.5 from 0 click on it but some days i see 15 click , when i open it i find attractive ads .. i felt i want to visit it lol its not alot don't worry some days my clicks / impressions 7% , 50 / 150 click per day MAN ...This is perfect 2% very good an if you feel some body try to block you deactive ur ads or talk to adsense support
I think somestimes the returning visitors will probably looking for information and not interested in ads. but play around the ads. I did some chages to my ads and its about 50 clicks for every 1000 impression. Thats okay i guess.. but I would like to increase it.
Maybe the solution for getting a compensation for all these visitors not clicking on your website is a new marketing program which play audio ads (5 seconds). They claim they will pay us for every single visitor of our websites. The program is new and therefore they are accepting every submission. Payment will start from February. I have subscribed and hope that it will improve my site revenues. More info at Audio Ads information
