Good Forum/community Software. Any ideas???

    Hi there,
    and hello again. Happy new year first of all. I had a good idea during new year drunkenness! But I need your help to push me in the BEST direction. I need a forum software (free preferably) which has a great ability of profile features and whats also important is search ability of profiles (eg. towns...). Though about eve community. But I would prefer some other suggestions.

    phpbb is free
    dp uses vbulletin.. it costs money.

    They are the only two out there that I have personally used.. and I find them both great. I do prefer vbulletin however..

    For community and forum/portal I think postnuke is a safer bet as there is less vulnerability, for phpnuke, have they integrated phpbb2 or 3?
