    Well, It seems G has changed periodic PR update schedule to 'on-going' pr update style. Its only recently G has shifted from periodic updates...

    Let see if it updates large group of sites on specified periods or not. ;)

    I'm going to start looking out for the 'on-going' pr update style that you have mentioned. Anymore information that you can give us?

    The Apple Macintosh was introduced during Super Bowl XVIII with its famous "1984" television commercial on that date. :D

    Well it started from huge drop of PR of bulk of sites in last pr update. From that time G has continuously changed PR of different sites in different times.

    By this way you only hear pr change of few sites every time and then there will be one point when you will no longer care about these updates. I think its currently purpose of G so that less and less number of people would care and try to manipulate it using artificial backlinks building.

    Google still carry out periodic pagerank updates. PageRank penalties (i.e. those that lower pagerank by 1 or 2 units, or zap it to 0) and restoration can occur at any time outside of a normal periodic update.
