You need to build backlinks using the search keyword\phrase you want to rank for as anchor text, do this on quality "related" sites.
Try getting some PR 6 and above sites to act as authority or trusted sites' links to your websites. Will definitely move your site up the SERPs. Set your domain expiration date to 2 years or later, it will help.
I am working on getting some good quality links from some quality sites right now with a higher PR. As far as the expiration date I will look into that. Thanks for the information.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still struggling with bring my own site on top, but I think this is because DP has more authority, apparently, than your website. This happens to new websites. I'm not sure if there's a way around this. My own site still has sites that link to me with my keywords for anchor text showing before my own site. Anyway, hope I helped clear this up.

I would say you need a higher keyword density: For 3 word phrases order of density: "your pit bull" "pit bull training" "training your pit" I would work on keyword density. Now don't over do it but I would work on it a bit. Also Yahoo only reports 32 backlinks to your domain, I would work on that as well, including: Social Bookmarking, Social Networking, Blogger Blogs, WP Blogs, Squidoo, forum posts, there are a lot of pet forums out there, I would start posting in them. You also have 2 H1 tags, each page SHOULD only have one h1 tag you might be penalized for looking spammy. Also your main H1 tag is diluted you have "Dog Training Books - From Beagle Training to Pit bull Training" I would make it Dog Training Books
the info is from one of the websites we use for our quick SEO tests This tag contains too many characters. This tag contains 95 characters. This is too many for what we would consider a 'robot friendly' web page. The maximum number of characters we recommend for this tag is 80. you could change the second H1 into a H2 tag
