    Hello,

I had 1st page ranking on some very populair keywords in my niche. 2/3 months ago my websites desepered and i did not have that good ranking anymore but I could not find my website on Google anymore, only a few pages that where not important but the main www.mysitesname.com did not come to the results

I thought i was deindexed so I go to http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35843

and followed up their instructions but when I was at the Google Webmaster Tools to request a reconsideration I could not find it.

What I could find was the following:

    Web crawl errors
    Unreachable URLs
    675
    Details »

    Details of the error where:

    URL Detail Last Calculated
    http://www.mysitename.com/ robots.txt unreachable [?] Dec 29, 2007
    http://www.mysitename.com/?rel=nofollow robots.txt unreachable [?] Dec 19, 2007
    http://www.mysitename.com/advertise.html robots.txt unreachable [?] Dec 25, 2007
    http://www.mysitename.com/info.html robots.txt unreachable [?] Dec 27, 2007
    http://www.mysitename.com/downloads.html robots.txt unreachable [?] Dec 28, 2007

I really dont understand what is going on...

Is there an other way to Request Reconsideration instead of using Google Webmaster Tools? Like via a special mail or something?

    thanks in advance

I would check that your sitemap is OK then upload it to you server again, along with your robots.txt.. Then resubmit your sitemap to google in webmaster tools..

I don't think you have been de-indexed, It just looks as though your robots.txt file and/or sitemap got lost or corrupted..

Check that your robots txt is not blocking any pages..

    Cheers

Posting your URL here won't hurt your site, in fact the backlink will probably benefit your site, so please post your site url, this will allow all to find the source of your problem.

    Thank you

The reinclusion request is usually a waste of time from my experience. Get a new website.

The Request Reconsideration in Google Webmaster Tools works. They read it, thats why they have it.

This happens almost everyday and is no longer considered as a weird occurrence by many webmasters today. You mess up your Google analytics and pop goes your rankings. You pass on for a day with SEO and SEM and link building for your website and down you go the SERPs rankings.

This happens just about every second of every minute. The point here is that with the growing competition, you must utilize all possible legal moves and maximize your efforts for managing your sites from analyzing using Google Analytics to managing your contents and links and marketing efforts.

Is the site quite new and/or not have many links? That can make a site go missing from the SERPS and reduce the number of indexed pages. So can a lot of other things, but without knowing the site it's hard to tell.
Does google webmasters say 'pages from your site ARE currently included in the index?' That tells you whether you've been completely deindexed or not.
In webmasters you can also test robots.txt - does webmasters think you have one already, although you think you don't?
I've never had that message but it looks a bit like a (non-existent?!) robots.txt file is blocking everything.
If your pages are not blocked by robots.txt and your site is completely deindexed, you can submit the 'reconsideration request' - but you need to know what you did wrong to fill it in properly!
    Good luck

If you answer some of the questions put forward already and/or post the website address, then maybe..
    if not... then no.
