Google is smart for sponsored links

Google is quite smart as they saved the sponsored links which I clicked in the past few months. I think it is good as they can use the history to trace whether someone is clicking too much on the sponsored ads e.g. competitive companies might be clicking each other's ads to increase the cost of the opposing companies.

Google is constantly improving. Another thing is that servers are getting faster and disk space is cheaper making it more possible.

Yeap but problem is that there is nothing they can do to prevent that, clicking by competitors isn't a crime but it drastically increase my adwords expenditure until I give up :(

It's not a crime but there must be a way to stop charging you once the ip has already clicked your ad once in the same day.

From what I heard those guys can employ clickers which can click from different IPs and your budget in a day can be gone in minutes.

You mess with Google at your own peril unless you are a spammer :D

That's a big problem. The competition may use proxies to click you down. Use regional targeting and it may help.

So you received lots of clicks from there? I think you may focus on US and europe market for which google pay more.
