Hi Is it usual for a site that has 500 unique visitors a day to be getting only one or two clicks a week? This seems to be a bit low to me. Perhaps my ads aren't placed well enough. Could you please give me some feedback thanks http://www.melonfool.com ps how many submits do i need before i can post links
your ads stand out too much as ads...I'd make them blend in to the colors, maybe in the front page put the skyscraper between the two sets of image video links...in the watching page between the player and image link table...get them out here where people see them and they look like content, not ads.
Your clicks count is a bit low for 500 unique visitors daily.. Try to blend in the ads as much as you can or restructure your layout for Adsense optimization. It should help you to increase CTR.
I hardly get any hits on my myspace resource site >_<, but I get a few clicks day if i'm lucky. On my browser (IE), your ads are like placed underneath your 'latest games' bit printscreen
I think that the banner on the right blends much better when it is showing text ads instead of image ads. Should i change it so that it only shows text ads?
Thanks for letting me know that it doesn't appear right in your browser. I am already aware that it appears wrongly for some people with IE and am working to correct it.
I'd put 2 white adsense square boxes. 1st above latest games 2nd above latest clips you should get nice CTR, maybe >5%
people are getting sick of ads and anyone that is there to play games knows the difference between ads and games and they don't want to get sidetracked by following an ad, so they just click and play the games til they get bored and leave I think the internet in general is getting that way, everyone's seen so many google ads they don't even look at them anymore
Depend on people audience. For example, online pimp players are total ad-blend usually Dunno how it looks on arcade site, but in my opinion there is always way to get decent ctr.
well, I was talking about legitimate clicks from people that really are clicking because they are interested and might be buying the thing they are clicking on..... not about getting decent ctr by fooling people into clicking
Blending ads in to the content is not about fooling people in to clicking its about ensuring that the ad is at least looked at so that they can decide whether they are interested instead of just ignoring it because it is clearly an ad
I have just had a click for $0.90 i hope that that wasn't any of you the last thing i need is to get banned
It's been my experience that text ads perform much better. I won't claim my way is the only way, but that's the way it's been for me...
There's three ways you can raise CTR on your site. I'll send you a PM because I have to send you a pic possibly.
Yes, correct this problem asap and place ads inline with main content of the page. Blended in properly, you ctr will surely rise a lot.
