I bought a new ipod Nano, Whats next ?

Just received my 4GB ipod nano 3rd Generation.

Now what next ?

i uploaded some songs, personal photos, 2 movies via itunes..

Now where to find
free ipod songs, videos, etc.

My AV cable is not working when i connect it to my headphone socket.

Not sure about eh AV cable, maybe you have a faulty one?

as for song and movies you could either buy them legally, or download them illegally.

 

you can download everthing from youtube....convert also videos to mp3...

 

I guess the next step is to buy the iphone. Having both would be so cool

 

why both ? Is iphone not a combination of phone+ipod

I guess ipods only supports mp4 formats for video files.
Use some converter.

You can use www.converttube.com to download/convert videos from youtube and put them on iPod.

AFAIK Ipods can play videos in .mp4 format so you need a converter to convert video clips to .mp4

Av cable faulty after connecting to headphone jack, it says connect the Av cable to dock connector..

There are LOADS of sites offering songs, videos but you need to convert the videos so that you can play em on ipod. Get a converter for this.
