Copied Posts?

One user decided to just go on Wikipedia and copy every two sentences and post it on my forum:
    http://www.finalfantasyboard.com/search.php?searchid=236

    One example:
    http://www.finalfantasyboard.com/final-fantasy-vii/83-gameplay-final-fantasy7.html
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...y+becomes+a+major+concern.&btnG=Google+Search

At least 90% of his posts are like this (I checked) and the other 10% he changed one or two words. I need a mod's suggestion as to whether or not I should pay him, my posting offer was to get different opinions and perspectives added to the forum, not copied work from Wikipedia.

Please advise as to what I should do!

Did you ask him to do paid posting job?

If not, then I would keep an eye on the user just in case he changes his signature to a spammy one, apart from that there really isn’t anything you can do. After all wikipedia articles are distributed under the GNU license.

No but I don't know whether or not I SHOULD pay him or not...I asked for posts, but it should be obvious I don't want copied content...

Also wasn't suggestions & feedback a more appropriate forum, since the description says:
Wouldn't this classify as a question about forum rules regarding payment? Not looking to argue, just asking a question...

Don't pay him, else rest of the paid posters would start doing the same and your forum would be overrun by duplicate content.

Tell him in simple terms that if he wants to get paid for the posting job then he has to write original posts and not copy them from somewhere else. In fact this clause should be in the thread which you would normally start for getting paid posters.

Edit: Mods have moved your post to general chat and dp in any case won't intervene in case you have dispute with any other member.

I agree with this post. There is no point in paying some one who cheated on doing the real work. Make sure that you post this rule where all your paid posters can read about it. Additionally, inform this person immediately that you do not accept this type of posting.

    Yeah, don't pay.

He thinks he's smart, and it's time to prove him wrong.
