There's lots of Movie stars too, but still it's unrealistic. You need to lower the bar. Setting goals is good, but you are supposed to set them while you see a visual possibility of actually getting there. For example myself: One of my sites Made $90 of adsense last month. Every month the profit has went double. The month before was around 44, before that, it was about $20, and so on. So an predictable goal would be $180 by the end of this month. By the end of this year I'm hoping that site will grab over $500 which is way under what it will be at judging by the increase. However saying that I would like $100,000 in a couple of years as the annual profit is totally dumb because that's not even a goal. It's called a dream........ And what's this I keep hearing here: ahaha, ok, that would explain why 98% of the world is broke and working as a pawn at some random manufacturing company for the rest of their lives.
Can e done, with a single website and multiple at the same time. Depends how eagor you are to earn this amount, and the harder the work you are putting into that.
Quote: 100k in 5 years ? It's hard not to make it actually. ahaha, ok, that would explain why 98% of the world is broke and working as a pawn at some random manufacturing company for the rest of their lives. --- Hmm, man, let me tell you truth, I really don't care about 98% of the world Even more than 98%. I compare me with myself. That is success, not with poor slave, nor with Bill Gates. Once again 1) 100k in 5 years is actually easy. 100k in year or month not. 2) 98% of the world is not broke. 3) How ? You can make it to $100 a day (in 5 years, man, so more than enough), then sell it for 2 years income, or at least 15-18 monthes plus savings from this and a little from job. 4) What also drives me a lot - people who make $1000 or less a month and thought their life is done cause they are smarter than slaves.
I just made some calculations so you need $55.5 per day to reach $100k in 5 years Correct me If Im wrong
55.5 a day is possible but i doubt anyone here can say they make 55 dollars a day on ONE site.. if they do . lucky lol
$100k in five years is pretty easy. Spend the first couple years marketing the shit out of your site and getting it to $55 a day should not be a problem
well yeah, five years is long enough to make it but you would need sh*t load of free time to advertise and work on your site. (meanwhile how are you paying you rent and bills?)
Of course it can be done but it is easier said than done. If it was easy then everyone would be rich, its not, it does take hard work but you can get there.
Of course it's possible. I probably earnt an 'average' salary in 2007 according to national statistics, yet my goal for 2008 is to profit $1m. We'll see how much putting my mind to it will actually contribute to my income. I'll dig this thread up on 1st Jan 09 and then we'll see I guess!
I agree with some parts & disagree with others I Agree With This: " Setting goals is good, but you are supposed to set them while you see a visual possibility of actually getting there." That is completely true - You must set mini-goals for yourself and visualize how you're going to get to your goals. I Disagree with this: "You need to lower the bar." - The most successful people constantly think big. When I do anything, I think to myself: "How can I be excellent in this?" - It has worked from internet marketing biz, sports, academics, and even video games. [lol] - If i'm not aiming super high, then there's no point. and: There's lots of Movie stars too, but still it's unrealistic. Being a movie star is completely based on public opinion. You are subject to someone else's opinion whether you are great or not. With internet marketing - nobody will avoid buying from you because you can't cry on demand; your nose is too long; or the simple fact that you don't fit the part. Apples and Oranges my friend. The reason why people work at a factory is because they don't have the mentality to get out of it.
nice quote infact thats exactly is my problem (i am not worker but webmaster). I never wanted my website to become a big hit. just happy with what i have dont know whether to cry or be happy.
Yep people can earn that much in so many fields; Affiliate marketting, content creation, writing, blogging, selling and heck even ebay. It can be done in less than a year if you're really willing to put the work in.
