$5 in India can get you a nice vegetarian meal for 1 time :)

Or you can get 4 litres of petrol
So in total $5 is neither too less nor too much!!

I've come to find that 5 bucks doesn't do for me what it used to a decade ago (big surprise...bloody inflation!)

5 bucks used to get me a Dr. Pepper, a pack of camels, and 1/4 tank of gas. These days I'm lucky if it covers the cigarettes.

A gallon of milk around here is almost 3 bucks at times. Gas... do I even have to talk about the gas? The only thing that's still cheap is ramen noodles. I think maybe I should consider moving to the Phillippines! That movie, popcorn, soda for 5 bucks sounds like a deal! Here for two people (evening show) it would cost 16 bucks for tickets, 4 bucks for a large soda, 4.75 for a large popcorn. That's about 25 bucks right there. Pathetic. We normally just wait for the DvD which costs less in the long run (if you're not factoring in the cost of groceries and electricity).

    That's each line = 5 bucks:p

Also...the pic of the chic is Awful!!!

Given the option between the chic in the picture and the goat...I'd say the goat's in trouble. baaaaaaaa.....

BTW: This is a little early but ... Happy New Year to everyone!

It depends where you spend this $5

    If in a Supermarket

    3 Red Bulls
    4 Sandwiches

Whereas if you are in a Disco or Party

Just one Red Bull or Corona :)

...well, over here in the UK, $5 is like £2.50 and that would get me:

    - 2.5 hrs at an internet cafe or
    - 2 whole chickens from the halal butchers at Green Street market or
    - a piece of chicken, 4 hot wings & chips and a can of fizzy rubicon mango juice from the fried chicken shop down the road from me :) or
    - 2 big bowls of fruit (too too healthy) or
    - a family-sized box of tiramisu (plus some change) or
    - 2 tubs of mango sorbet or
    - 7 plain, almond or chocolate croissants from Sainsburys or
    - 2 large mangoes or
    - 20 ready-to-eat hot wings from Asda or
    - 2 packs of low-fat choc ices (10 in a pack)

I could go on. And on. And on.

Erm, can ya tell I like food? Can ya? :p
