No, it's retaliation, if you do something to someone they will retaliate. It is what we all do, you can't do something and then not expect a retaliation. If he is upset at US interference, he should be outraged at what Syria has done and continues to do. The mere fact he would try and make this argument says so much about this thinking and true motives. They are not about a free Lebanon, but rather to bash America.
