today i submitted about 25 or 30 pages and i posted about 7 comments maybe even 5 and now i can't get into my account. was that overdoing it? i posted alot of pages the other day and nothing happened. all i know now is that when i log into my account all i get is a blank page. nothing. am i being blocked or are they having problems. can anyone tell me if i posted to many or what. thanks.
Usually if they think you're automating the submission of stories, diggs or in any way trying to unjustly influence something then they do the white page block. So yes, you have been blocked; its not a problem with Digg. 25-30 submissions in a day seems pretty high but its obviously relevant to how many comments, diggs, page views around the site, click throughs on links etc.
I can't remember to be honest.. Just clear your cookies, power cycle your dsl modem (hopefully you're on a dynamic IP) and get yourself a new username.
i've tried clearing my cookies and unfortunately i can't change my ip. i've check with the cable company and they tell me know. well shit that just tops the end of my day. thanks for all your help much appreciated. if your not digging you should within the few hours i was on i got alot of hits.
