announcing does help to reach couple of people but not effective enough . i think the best thing is to be precautions when dealing with newbie ? especially should not make a payment until job is completed 100% .

Negative feedback is the best option to help others not getting scammed. I don't know if you can ever get your cash back if you've paid by any other processor than paypal.

i left one .. but in return he left me one .. even though his false -ive itrade wont affect me much cuz i have enough +ive itrade .
    this is what actully happend.

    this what exactly happend .

    - i used someone's this idiot's service , he shows me demo and i make payment
    - i check files it has issues and i ask him to fix it
    - he tries to fix is but unable to fix it
    - so i had to recode it and so i asked him to refund
    - i had assigned him one more job after sending payment
    - i sent him pm to fix it or refund
    - he says find someone else to code & doesnt refund and starts distributing my work without rights & says he can do whatever he want from file we send him so basically he says he owns the right to use it or distribute it
    - i leave -ive itrade & and inturn he leave me one
    - now i not only loose $$ also loose client.

and now he claims he is not the one who cheated i am the one :)

Tradition has it that you receive an infraction if you follow that advice.

You could email the moderators for help or announce it in the forums so people will be warned. But countryboy is right, you will likely get an infraction if you start a thread about it.

    Not recommended.
You'd get infractions for that too.

    - never pay until job is 100% done

    - and be extra careful with newbie's

I got scammed here, someone PMed me that he is selling this amazing site. I send him the money through Paypal, $30.00 USD. He never showed up and paypal refused to refund my money. I didn't bother announcing it.

All I can say that you can always learn from your mistakes. In this case, I will never buy anything from anyone unless there is a topic made for it, so I can send screenshots and get public support. The least you can do is learn from your mistakes. :)

PS: Nice topic to talk about man.

Don't pay 100% upfront but you can pay a small deposit if the sellers asks for it and yep! be careful while dealing with newbies. Check out the itraders before making a deal!
