you have to buy text links on sites that are similar to yours, and the site that is being advertised has to be interesting so that you people will click, so you will get your monies worth from the link.

I know this is old but AdEngage works fine for me. My average CPC is 0.13 and they have that small icons that make people to click on them.

i use contextgain (doclix) in conjunction with adsense. it basically adds the in-text capabilities that adsense lacks with the high CPC rates of adsense. works very well for me.

It is true. They scammed me out of $4k last year. John Marston is a complete asshole and I await the day I see him at an industry event.

loll, Ad Engage is not scam at all i got paid like 4-5 times by them, always on time, and always considerable earnings (200-300$ each time), i can post some screen shots to solve all the doubts, also their support is really good, their ads are cool, and the rates are good but could be better :p.
So i recommend you guys to use them, they are better then a lot of other similar ad networks (AdToll, ExoClick, Oxado, etc, etc....)

I like to get paid. Never have done the click thing. I looked at it for some advertising on my site but decided I didn't want Phony traffic. I heard Google adsense will cancel anyone caught using a click ad site to boost their traffic.

I would do some clicking for some of that 4 cents but would not get my web site involved in it.

Thanks for the posts everyone! I always enjoy reading everyones opinions.

I paid for 3 weekly placements costing a total of $50 for the period. I used AdEngage to promote a web site that offers free memberships and upgraded paid memberships. I received over 1,800 clicks and not a single click turned into a free membership. AdEngage's traffic is utter garbage -- in fact, it's worse than garbage -- it's absolute cr@p.

    Hi there,

As most of you will ask that why I am making this post as this is very old thread, the reason is, this thread is listed on top of the Google page when you search for "AdEngage", thats why I want to share my info about AdEngage.

AdEngage was purchased by a new company in 2011, they have a great new team that is a lot better than the prior guys. I've been with them for years, they actually changed a lot and got a lot better after 2011 acquisition. I have really a great experience working with this new team, they are great to work with. They've got a lot of specials deals. I love being able to get someone on the phone there, I can talk to a real person.

AdEngage also offers flexibility, hasslefree use, and fast payments. That is, unlike some other websites, the company help you earn money without much trouble and worry. It allows advertisers to select the websites on which they want to publish their ads. For this, it has grouped the publishers into different categories. The advertisers can select the publisher in the categories that they find most convenient. For example, for advertising movie-related products, it is best to choose a website from the movies or entertainment category.

I heard they about to launch their new site, should be cool.

    Cheers,
    Lethal.
