[WTB] Huge Bandwidth Hosting (Possibly Dedicated or Semi Dedicated)

My site keeps going offline each day as it's using 250GB a day!!! (Yes, a DAY!!)

I am in drastic need of a hosting solution that can handle such huge amounts. Please help me.

 

i think you need a vps that has 100mbit of connection unmetered bandwidth

Depending on if your site is static or dynamic, you need a VPS or a Dedicated server with unmetered bandwidth.

 

250GB x 30 days = 7500gb a month

That's 25mbps bandwidth right there

 

Wow, if your using that much transfer from one site. You must be making a nice profit from traffic.

Sadly no, because most of it is direct streaming, so no adverts.

 

I could do that for about $900/month on a dual cpu amd opteron with a 500gig hdd and 8GB RAM and ofcourse, a 100mbit pipe.

you really need dedicated, and try getting 100mbit pipe, and good ram, cuz u wanna make shure the system can handle it, when ur pumpin out 7tb bw a month.

PS: lol, what kinda site do u run? something like rapidshare?

 

Maybe get 2 dedicated servers? Sometimes its cheaper and more efficient then getting one big pipe.
