Where is the sales pitch for the software? Oh, thats right, gonna wait a few days to make people feel like your their friend! LOL. I do agree with the get out there and work hard comment, but talking to 1000 random people for my niche may only bring 1 or 2 visitors, and way less sales. Not much targeting there. I would rather spend 10 minutes targeting people with an interest in my niche than 80 hours randomly talking to people who have no interest. Not that I only spend 10 minutes, I do spend hours, but just a point!

Well my point is, I could always use more sales, but the niche I sell to, and I am sure the niche MANY people sell to on this forum, would have a VERY low conversion rate with thousands of random people. Sounds like a porn spam technique to me! Just my 2 cents. I guess if you are selling MP3s porn or ringtones or something you may get a .5% conversion, but again, still a hard sell. Sometimes, MANY TIMES, it is better to work smart than to work hard.
So you're saying out of 1600 females who are your friend and sending you instant messages to talk to such a smooth and intriguing, attractive guy (Or girl...if you want to do it like that.)...you would only sell a couple bottles of perfume? lingerie? bathing suits to girls in Florida? I say I sell freshwater Dwarf Shrimp, and out of 1600 females in florida I would be VERY lucky if I could sell them once. That is my niche. I own the niche. Nobody sells more than I do, but, again, your "marketing" method would not work for me, or others that sell products to a small niche.
