    I just learned how to code themes and I am trying to perfect my wordpress speed,

    You know , like "load time"

    Can you tell me if this site loads fast or slow Please :)

    30 secs, not bad for dialup but considering that you had few images it's kind of slow.

    The whole site was there in about 5-6 secs, but the image took a while.

    I just checked in IE6 and your right links are pushing your content down the page. The content was there in about a second but the image took about 20 seconds.

    Yea, the image is the biggest part,

    The rest of the site is all just hand coded object positioned css .....

    I have noticed that wordpress plugins slow it down, I am trying to use as little as possible :)

    Thanks for the feedback again....

    I think I have cleaned the "loop" as much as possible.... for wordpress. just think thats the fastest it will go

    Its seems its faster then a lof of wordpress blogs.



    Thanks .....yea, I just installed IE7 to fix those float issues ...

    Let me ask,

    After the site did load in IE6 , was everything aligned right?

    The text was just pushed down when it was loading right?

    I think in css, you can make things load faster or first ......( off to the css forum )

    Was fast for me.

    BTW Bobcats rock. I attended a Bobcat rodeo 10 or so years ago in Australia.

    Youve seen a stunts and tricks shows with cars or motorbikes? Well, this was all Bobcats.
