    Jeremiah 5

30 "A horrible and shocking thing
    has happened in the land:

    31 The prophets prophesy lies,
the priests rule by their own authority,
and my people love it this way.
But what will you do in the end?

This does not necessarily refers to Catholic. To just take it a proof that Catholics are damned is a bit far fetch IMHO

You puzzled me. In this case, who are not damned?

It doesn't say who are not damned. It just says that "my people" are damned, meaning God's people, AKA Christians, AKA 13 tribes

Well, we as a nation go to pedophile church on Sundays, celebrate those pagan holidays, (Halloween, Mothers day, Christmas and all), steal and adulterate, ignore Old Testament, and do whatever those perverts tell us God wants us to do. So we are damned. Does it make sense?

if you don't want to ignore the old testament i am sure you would have a great time enforcing rules about, stoning to death evil children, women can't speak among men (i think thats a great one actually :p). People who have long hair bring shame to themselves. list goes on and on.

Fine, but there is a verse in the Bible that says, if you add or remove something to it [Bible], I will do something to you, I don't remember what, slew or something.
If you are going to throw Old Testament out, why not throw New Testament out too? I don't see logic in ignoring one but not the other

thats where christians fail. they pick and choose what they want in there bible which isn't right. Some claim "oh well times have changed" well what does it matter wither times have changed or not, if you believe in something so much as to dedicate your life around it i am sure you would follow the original teachings would you not?

so am i correct in saying this thread is a direct bash on Christianity?

    if so, why?

why aren't you dedicating your time bashing hinduism, islam, buddhism, etc. too?

o i think i know why. it's that rebel spirit. your parents are probably crazy catholics and you're trying to get back at them..

No, my parents are/were crazy atheists just like most people, and I have nothing against Christianity personally. But it's obvious from the Bible that the creator of universe does (and not just against Christians)
I am not bashing hinduism, islam, buddhism for the same reason that I am not bashing Christianity.
My point is, what is the point of voting for Ron Paul or donating $$ to Da Best Charity PO Box XXX Boise ID if we do all these things that God says not to do under threat of punishment

Right, so why do you want to be associated with church then? Isn't pedophilia banned? I don't get it. 'splain it to me

Bingo. If there are 5 crimes punishable by death, and you commit just 3 of them, the punishment is still death. It's all or nothing
