Hey I'm making a new site and I need music, movie and gaming videos. I don't want to use youtube. Is there better solution solution? I don't mind hosting the videos, but where can I get them?
Ah, you want to Embed them? No, No, No! Use a site like http://www.youtubecatcher.com/, where you put url of video and download it! Save it to your PC, and then upload it to your website !
I was thinking of doing that, but are you allowed? Do you know the code to embed a flv video? Would I need to covert the videos to a different format or is flv ok? I was hoping there was a site that managed videos and trailers to be distributed on the internet that your allowed to use for your site. I was also thinking of just emailing the companys and asking if I can use the videos, but that will take forever. Thanks for the tip but I don't want to use videos with logos on them. Please don't spam my thread gosiebump
What's so different with stealing youtubes videos than what you want to do? Puting movies/music videos on your website directly that was not made by you and you didn't purchase the copyrights or the videos are not in the public domain is illegal to do. Even Youtube is broken the law doing this sort of thing and has already been in a good few lawsuits from it.
you can use imeem.com for your music, and u can use my site flinzo.com for ur movies and tv shows etc and for the gaming, try dailymotion and those kind of sites
I think I'm just going to use regular youtube videos and not host them. It will probly be the best legal solution for videos. Is it possible to switch the youtube player skin to a default flash player? are you allowed to do that? Thanks everyone.
I have a site that uses youtube videos its leonxfactor it uses a paid script ,but you can put adds on it and i think it works very well
