Please appraise LL.NET

I am considering to sell the domain MH.NET, which I have registered around 1997 and later moved to another registrar. This domain was never used for a website, but mainly for email, since I once got this domain to use it, and not to show it off <g> - so it won't have any advertising revenues or page ranks at all.

Can you please give a realistic appraisal of the current value of this domain name?

    Thank you very much. :)

This name will command at least low $xx,xxx. Even more if you could interest an end user, good luck with the sale.

See this site for past comparable sale.

Well, I might be a romantic internet user of the first hour, but an end user is whom I would like the domain to go to, the poor domain would not want to sit in the portfolio of a domain dealer. :)

The domain is now up for auction at sedo.com with a minimum bid of around 7500 USD - so far, no offers, though. :)

You have to be patient if you want to extract the maximum value out of this name, i just realized that MH can be short for My Host and .net extension is perfect for this type of name, almost equally valuable as .com version. This one can go for much higher than just $7.5 k imo, but you have to be patient.

both M and H are considered as premium letters, so i think this will definitely get more than $10000

4,500 now - 5 more days to go.

I would never had thought about something like that when I registered the domain more than 10 years ago. I still remember when I was sitting one night and trying out various 2 letter combinations to find something nice <g>. I got then as well another 2 letter domain, which I even gave for free to a friend of mine...

I still have a couple of 4 letter domains - maybe I really should wait another 10 years instead of simply not renewing when I did not need them anymore, as I did before <g>.
