Hi, Have a look: Original Article: http://howdatingworks.net/4/make-her-miss-you/ Copied: http://thetechlife.org/dating-relationships/3992-make-her-miss-you.html Please suggest. Thank you regards, Zafar Ahmed
That does suck. First of all, contact whoever stole your article and demand that it is removed. Be polite and reasonable, but be assertive. Secondly, contact EzineArticles and show them that YOU were the original writer of that piece, and show them where it is published on your site and where it's published on the copycat's site - show them that, according to the date and time, it was on your site first. I'm not quite sure, but I have people copying and scraping my content on a daily basis. I usually just contact the copycats, explain the situation and tell them that what they're doing is illegal, and they'll remove it.
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=59790 This guy has that website in his signature. And you are not the only one suffering: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=579526&highlight=thetechlife.org
Indeed yes, I have put the copyscape sign on www.howdatingworks.net - I am not sure if this helps get rid of plagiarism.
so wat would you like me to do remove it or give credit to the post, i didn't know sorry. Im not responsible for what my members post on my site, I don't know where they accquire it from unless it is me posting it. So i can delete that thread for you or pur ur website and give credit. just let me know.
rules of the forum before registering.. so u can't take any action against me for this.. I can only help you edit or remove it . Obviously, yours is the original simply by looking at the date of posts. You post your article on 21st December, while the copycat posted the article on the 24th. That's very rude indeed.
The person who has posted our article on your forum is a administrator, she/he is not a random member. I would appreciate if you can give credit to howdatingworks.net. If not, please remove it ASAP.
it doesn't matter if the person is an admin or not it is still a user and you are contacting me (a different user) about it. I gave credit to the site hyper linked as well as text. you have to be logged into see hyperlinked text. I apologize on the user's behalf.
If the admins of your forum are posting content that they have no rights to, that is your liability. You may not be responsible for regular members but the admins represent your site, you are responsible for their actions, because you have appointed them
Personally I don't think he copied it. I think it was done through means of an autoblog. Many people in the BUY/SELL/TRADE subforum offer creations of autoblogs and they do this by using others feeds. I myself have gotten into a few problems because of people creating autoblogs for me that were stealing content. I then contacted the websites and told them I was sorry and removed them from the feeds. This being said , even if they do use it they should get your approval first (it could be useful to you as it might get you more traffic if they have a linkback in the post...thats what I do.)
