    if the content comes first before the sidebar (in the html code) it matters? ot not?

    design is for you and your members not for google.IF sidebar is before or after that is same for google bot.

    Hey dvirhazout:)

    As far as the content for a website, it is advisable to have your content come first at the top of the page. The reason is for Seo purposes. Also, when the spiders/bots view your site's content, they will see your kws first instead of viewing a long navigation. There are ways to structure your site this way with the right tables.


    Ex. In source code:

    Top > Content(kws)
    > Navigation

    it is better if you do that because the robots crawl from left to right, your content may be crawled first than your sidebar...

    using CSS positioning you can put your content farther toward the top of the file, and put all the other crap (headers, footers, navs, etc) down at the bottom, then the bot gets your content first, which is good.

    ha ha:) that was really funny... don't you think, bomberman and sinister, that bots are just getting the whole picture of the site/blog in code? Sorry if I'm mistaken but for me it sounds ridiculous that there is some difference for bots, I suppose that this is just the matter of design and only for visitors
