    i have been watching wrestling for more than 10 years and iam talking about wwe and tna and those companies and i can tell you that all this are fake :)

    its all scripted :)

    As a sport, WWE type wrestling is fake.

    Nobody in the sport claims it is a legitimate sports competition.

    They are working at entertaining people, so only in that sense is their work and effort real. The fake part refers to it is a sport where the winner is decided by athletic competition. That is not what TV wrestling is about.

    Everything you said acknowledges that the sport is fake and scripted. That doesn't mean these guys don't work hard or are not talented, it means the competition part is fake, plain and simple.

    No, I am using the correct word to describe a competition where the result is based on a script, not athletic prowess. That is a fake sport.

    They are real actors. They are real athletes. They are really engaging in a physical battle. The competition and "sport" aspects are fake. The titles are fake. The belts are fake.

    Hmm, why don't they allow wagering on this "sport"? Perhaps because everyone knows it is fake.

    The best part is that you can have your opinion and I will have mine.

    Yes, the result is based on a script, but it doesn't make it FAKE. It makes it what it is, scripted. And actually, they never mention it to be a SPORT, it's not a sport, it's sports entertainment, which is why they don't allow wagering.

    Some moves are real. Those slams cant be faked. Any hit to the face is fake. Punches and kicks to other parts look real, they make contact but they slow down their kick/punch right before it hits them so it doesnt do much damage. Its all scripted (they have multiple spots in the fight where they need to preform a certain move)



    Backyard Wrestling is real, and usually results in serious injuries.

    There was a time when professional wrestling was a sport. People like Jan Wilkins was world champion and the winner was decided by best of three pins. Nowadays it's a poorly scripted soap opera. But I suppose its are real as reality tv :p

    The action is real. But who wins and who loses are decided before the match begins for all those important matches. There is also a lot of exaggeration.
