There were multiple teams, in different states of Pakistan, waiting for Bhutto so that they could target her.

Finally, it as the Punjabi Cell that got her. She was out of the car top-hatch, waving to her supporters, when she was hit by sniper bullets in her neck.

She should have stayed away. She was just a greedy woman, wanting power.

It is time now, to elect the only true, and corruption free leader - Imran Khan, to the post of Prime Minister.

Well, i am not a Pakistani, but I like his cricket.:D

Ok, so you do not know who she is, but make comments like "Bush puppet", "corruption"... er, ok..

How did what fly? What difference does sex make? Of course it is Terrorist related, but it is also Pakistan related.. Terrorists in Pakistan killed her.

    Corrupt how? Source?

So I have actually been reading posts about Benazir Bhutto from those who don't even know who she is? Fantastic! Why are they commenting on the first place?

I think they know who she is.. They are just seeking to discount her influence and importance. That or they are completely ignorant.

Dude, although now she is dead, and as a general courtesy we do not talk ill about a dead person. Even Though, Bhutto wasn't any better than Mushrraf.

She became PM twice and both time failed to complete her term. She also killed her own brother. She was an utter corrupt lady.

So Idiot is right. When she came back not many people were excited. She came back to share power with Mush, so it didn't give relief to many people in Pakistan. Now when she is dead, not many people other than her party, are sad.

Don't make me wrong. I respect all and every beliefs ot there.
On the other hand, my beliefs in God and everything in relation is just an invenion for weaker humans who need a "help" to keep going when things get tougher...And I understand that.
You, we, all have the right to our beliefs, no question about it....
I'm even pretty sure that Bhutto's killer has a faith in God and probably asked God to help him/her to pull the trigger. For me this is just difficult "to get it"...

i am a Pakistani resident and would like to share my thoughts. Benazir Was a Great Leader " May God Rest Her Soul In Heaven " but likely it was not the death of benazir that effected me but it were the consequences that came along with it. Almost 400 cars burnt, 10+ banks robbed, 25 people killed. Hyderabad in curfew. people are trapped in side homes, no food to eat. With this the inflation will go even worse. Just God Bless Pakistan. elections are up on the 8th of jan, all people are tense to know what they will have to face.

Yeah right :p About 80% of the people in pakistan would vote for her, she has the largest vote bank. If she would be in the elections she could have easily defeated musharraf.

Those charges were later reversed.. That is why I still ask:

    "corrupt how"?

Are we talking about alleged corruption or the real thing... ???????

Sorry to hear that.. Yes, the aftermath seems much worse. Hopefully things get better. Hopefully more people realize just how bad the Alqueida Terrorists are and are motivated to get them out of Pakistan...

Defeted Musharraf? How? Musharraf wasn't running for Prime Minister....

You may be a big supporter of late Begum Bhutto, but I highly doubt 80% of Pakistani were.

Here in the US, it sure seems like she had more support.. From where I sit, it looks as if she was set up, purposely banished, and then allowed back to usher in her death...

I'm just giving you a look at it from my perspective as an American... This is the way the media appears to have portrayed her, at least in the West...

Whoever killed her has no faith in god. Cause a true god is the god of the living, not the god of telling people to kill others. Cody , i have allready gone through the intelligent design debate. If you like i can point you to a video that helps prove my point about god existing. If you believe that our universe was created out of random chaos then isnt your thinking a bit illogical?

She'd always been very popular in media, both western and South Asian.
Mainly due to her western education, as she completed her higher education in US. If we do not look at the charges of corruption, accusation of the murder of her own brother Murtaza Bhutto. She was more liberal, secular and westernized in her approach than her rival, Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz is said to be a supporter of Islamic fundamentalists.

Sure she had popularity in Pakistan too, but it wasn't 80%. we can say that liberal people of Pakistan (Called moderate and progressive Muslims) all supported Benazir while people inclined to fundamentalism, not necessarily radical, are Sharif supporters.

Umm...I have to disagree. Half of people in jail after raping and killing have faith, crosses tattoo and pray everyday...
These people have faith, they ask God to help them through their hard time in jail...They need to believe to survive, they need the help of God, which never comes...like these 25,000 infants that died today of malnutrition...no help from God either....neither the next 25,000 tomorrow...
    But again, that's just me...

You dont seem to understand what god is about. These problems have been caused by us. If every human being had concentrated on helping each other rather than thinking of themselves or thinking of causing wars then our planet would be a much better place to live in. What your suggesting is that we pray for god to solve our own problems the easy way. Your looking at the world through earthly eyes instead of looking at the world the way god sees it.
A true god is the god who loves unconditionally and wants the best for his people.

I could sit around all day and say why doesnt god just take away all of our everday problems and i remembered a clip from bruce allmighty where bruce had the power of god to take away everyones problems. Watch the movie and see what happens:).

After winning the elections, she and her party could have the majority of seats and on the next presidential elections a member of her party could easy win. Yes, she has the largest vote bank about 80%
