What kind of offers should I expect to receive?

About 8 years ago I discovered a niche. To this day I have been selling in this niche and have made some good money. One day I wish to sell the business and retire. I'd

like to get an idea of where I stand at this point and set some goals to grow the business to get a good amount when I sell it.

Here are the details of the business:

Income is around $180K annually, it grows every year.

All sales are made via 6 websites and 3 ebay accounts. The oldest website is about 7 years old. The newest is less than a year old and is making money with zero

    advertising.

The business is ran from home with no employees or overhead.

All items sold are informational items. The items are delivered via CD/DVD Rom or printed format.

No need to stock inventory. All items are published on demand as orders are made.

    Expenses are $2K-$3K per month.

    Tremendous room for growth.

This is a unique business as you can see. The current income can be maintained with no additional work other than the 2 hours a day I currently spend with it. I do sometimes put in some long hours when I feel like bumping up the income.

    What's it worth?

I would say between $600-$800.000 if you find a buyer that fits well.

$800 for that big of a site? or do you mean 800,000? Either way it seems off. For something like that, Id think maybe slightly more than the revenue of a year or two.

I think he meant $800k. This business can only be sold to someone who have met you in person and you've gone over all details with him/her for at least a month. If I was a potential buyer, would probably buy it for around $300k because there is a lot to learn before profiting.

Actually, to maintain the current income one would only need to know how to print something and how to burn a CD/DVD Rom. To keep the income increasing there would be some things to learn.
