CentGator.com - Earns $300 A Month - Low BIN

    Hi,

I'm looking for a fast sale on this site! Use BIN to grab it!

Up for grabs is CentGator.com. The site earns money from referring hosting customers and does so in a unique way. The site caters to offering a special discounted coupon which entices visitors into purchasing hosting.

For every sale the site earns $100!
( Note: The screenshots show $50 per sale, but its actually $100! This is because these sales were before I switched to CJ. If you sign up at CJ.com for the hostgator.com affiliate program intead of hostgator itself, you earn double per sale! So instead of $50, its $100!)

CentGator.com has a great domain name and a good design. The site has been up since Oct and and average sales total around $150 a month when referring customers through the link. Most sales come from customers referred that I send to this site. I spend less than 10 minutes a month on it, just checking stats and maybe sending a link to someone looking for hosting. ZERO is spent on advertising, so its all profit. I do not pay for advertising!

The value is in the domain name and the fact the site does and has made money. Its an easy concept with a proven model of income. A lot more can be done with the site with more time or more promoting, right now its basically free money at this level.

My only reason for selling is to get rid of a few sites I have and focus on my most important ones. I often buy and flip websites that make money!

Domain name is at Godaddy.com and there is a free transfer there to the buyer.

Looking for a fast sale at just under 2X the normal monthly revenue! Note: this is actually one months revene, if you count the fact that CJ.com pays twice as much!

I can transfer the same day payment is made!

    Starting Bid: $50
    BIN: $250

    Commissions Earned

Payment Recieved for October Sales - $150 ( This would be double at $300 if signed up at CJ.com at the time. Cj.com pays double for sales rather than the hostgator.com in house program! )

    Starting Bid: $50
    BIN: $250

PayPal Accepted and Transfer can be done the same day!

I just checked and this website isn't indexed or recognized by search engines at all. The domain is one month old, is this correct?

Not sure why its not picked up by google yet, but its been up since the very end of October. There is no money spent on advertising so all revenue is earned is kept. Site is very easy to run and has a creative way to entice visitors to purchase hosting

    Hi,

Stats were posted above in the screenshot from HostGator. So far almost 200 visits. Most visits and sales come from referring customers who need hosting.

Also in case anyone didnt notice in the first post, CJ.com pays double than the regular in house affiliate program. So instead of $50 sales, it should be $100!

    Hi,

The website earns money from referring customers to Hostgator.com who sign up for hosting. Instead of just referring people through a simple link, the site is made to look like a coupon creator that offers a discount. Visitors who follow the link through the coupon creator and use the coupon to sign up, can get hosting for just $0.01 instead of paying full price.

Each time someone signs up through the link, you earn $100.

CJ.com pays out $100 per sale if you sign up for the hostgator.com affiliate program through them. The in house affiliate program at HostGator.com pays $50-$125 depending on the number of sales. But again, CJ.com pays the $100 right away.

It hasnt shown up in google because I dont have a lot of links around everywhere. The new owner can submit to google or start getting more links. But the current visitors come from sig links and reffering anyone who purchases website or needs hosting. Keep in mind its not 200 referring customers, but its 200 visitors. So far there have been i think 9 sales so far

So theres only one coupon code? Thats it? It doesnt vary and it doesn't offer other discounts? I mean with setup and hosting it comes out to be net 5 bucks....which is very different from .01 cents. Great discount still but falsely advertised.

where did your visitors come from if no advertising is done and the site is not indexed? are they just people you know online or is there a way you used to drive traffic?
and regarding coupons, do they actually work or is just a work around to send them to hostgator? because I think it's always 99 cents the first month no?

There are several coupon codes that you can use. The website is setup to look like a coupon creator and worked very well so far. The coupons do work and hosting comes out to only $0.01 when you checkout at HostGator.com.

Again, visitors come from sig links and directly referring someone to the site who needs hosting. This is a great site to promote here on digitalpoint or webmaster sites. Most people who buy websites usually need hosting, and this site helps offer a good discount. It benefits users coming to the site by offering them the coupon to get cheaper hosting, and benefits you as the owner because you earn $100 per sale.

    The coupons do work though!

No it doesnt. I selected the cheapest hosting package available (8.99 a mo) and the setup fee was $5 making it $13. The coupon it self was for about 8.50 so it ended up almost being $5.

Again, I'm not one to nitpick and if you do earn $100 it is a great deal but I wanted to let you know its not $0.01. I'll bid 50.

    Hi,

The baby package is the most popular, and if you select this, it does make it just $0.01. The $5 setup fee only applys to the hatchling plan.

Most people select swamp cause its just $1 more a month than the cheapest plan and you get to host unlimited websites under that account.

ahhh ok gotcha. I dont think there are multiple codes....the code "JURY" is hard coded into your source code....what happens when HostGator no longer accepts that coupon code? Your SOL unless you can prove to me a way you ALWAYS have a new, working coupon......

I only implemented one code, but the new owner could implement several of the codes. HostGator.com made these available to me as an affiliate. Its a 100% guarantee they wont go away because they are permanent coupons, not seasonal ones. They are used in their main promotions with affiliates and sales.
