    lowest is £350, thats nothing new, a lot of places have laptops for £350

    Not true, you could convert the whole site to pounds and see that the lowest is sub-200 pounds.

    seen thinkpad r31 - is it an old laptop whys it so cheap?

    if it has wireless compatibility i would but straight away but i have no idea if i can trust the site

    get a old laptop and install linux, it will run faster than a new vista machine

    Very true. Even running XP on a used laptop will be faster than a new vista machine. Check craigslist for some good deals. Make sure you test it out and everything works fine before buying it. Or if your real good, get one that that has software problems and is being given away real cheap. Format it, install your OS of choice and go on your way.
