How much do you NEED to make?

Because of the differences in the cost of living worldwide, people need different amounts of money to claim they are making a living -

I guess in the UK you would need to be making MINIMUM $2000/month from adsense to claim that you were "making a living"... probably even more than that.

How much do you NEED to be making per MONTH where you live to be "making a living" from adsense?

    $200, $300...more?

$4000 to $6000 in the UK. Average city, house, car, family and life.

Canada, 20,000 a year would be a comfortable living in most cities (unless you live in toronto or something.) that would be about 1,666 a month. (what a number..lol)

Sad fact is though most live on less then that here. Like 12,000 - 15,000 a year is the average income of many people here.
lol, welfare is 5,000 a year! haha. Cna you imagine living on 5,000 a year. Shit the rent would take 120% of that.

In our area of US (upstate New York), 40k would make most people very happy. My standards are a bit higher, though. :)

That would make most people in the world comfortable - the question is how much you need to actually make a living,

as in - SURVIVE only on adsense.

good answer - rep sent :) I take it that is $US 2000?

Actually to Survive on only adsense for $2000Can is a little high. There's so many people just broke and have junky factory jobs for tehir whole life.

$1700Canadian is around $9 an hour which is the average that the country makes. I know its pretty sad, but true. You gotta take into effect adsense is differant than having a real job. You save more money. You save on putting in gas for your car for starters.
-Save a lot because it helps me have more time to renovate my house which saves me the big bucks when the bills come in.

See, I used to live in Toronto where they like to charge you $1,000Can for a junky 1 bedroom apt. in the middle of the hood. There's a lot of poverty there. I had a plan and moved to Manitoba. Here is the cheapest living costs ever. Heck I bought a house and I'm paying less than $400 for a morgage. I could survive on $1000Can a month living here if I had to.

Yeah, that woundn't make you comfortable. That would make you rich.

Depends on where you live and your situation.

I live just outside of Ottawa, Ontario.

Kids, Mortgages, Cars.... $2k isn't enough for that here.

toronto is not the only expensive place in canada, pretty much all major cities are expensive and getting expensive to live in everyday

and where did you get the 12,000 and 15,000 a year income stats? lol...with that kind of income you will need to wait 4 years to by a luxury car assuming that you do not spend it on other stuff.

to survive, 2k would be enough i suppose, but taxes would eat up 48% of that, so you would need like 3-4k instead.. hehe.
