Well, if you sign up anyway, tell me the template you want to use, I'll upload a custom one for you starting with your username etc, and it'll have your adbrite in place of adsense?
Sending you a new ad code for each of my sites (new ad zone must be created with AdBrite to get the code)? Too time consuming... You could just another field to the Proxy CP where we can enter out custom ad code and a simple function to check if one of the fields (AdSense id or custom ad field) and use the other. Or better, why don't you just give us the ability to edit the main page of our page completely? You don't place your ads in it anyway, so you don't have to worry about unfair people removing it. You just place to the proxified page and you will keep it unchanged. PS: The template "Theme_1" shows AdSense on proxified pages. Remove them before some of your users or you get banned. Also, the same template has a bug. Check my proxy using it for example. There are shortcut links on the header saying "MySpace", "Bebo" etc... When one clicks on them, he is again on the homepage and not in the link he wanted (myspace for example). He needs to enter the URL in the field anyway so these buttons are useless. And after one of these links on the header is clicked, if you try to click "Home", it will get you to "http://5us.info/5us.info" instead of just "http://5us.info".
Ah I'll sort that template out cheers. The adsense isnt mine or the users on the proxied pages, it's from an adnetwork, I've said this many times, it's discussed on several proxy forums. Adbrite doesnt need a new zone for each site, they used to like it, but not anymore. I'm working on a concept of users uploading their entire templates, but it wont be ready for a while yet.
Hi, I got your mail, but cant really think of what else to say that isnt in this thread already? IE signup on the link on the previous page. Nick
Yep, what theme do you want? I'm going to code in an option to replace the adsense altogether on the existing ones too.
Ok, what I'll do is add in a custom ads page with fields for the IAB ad sizes, then a Theme_X_custom option for each theme, so when you select that theme, it'll use the sizes from your custom ads page...sound good to you? PS - if you show me some good themes, I'll add them into the database.
All done - What you have to do is create a new account if you don't have, one, then click on Custom ads - enter your ads of various sizes from your network of choice. Now when you add the domain, simply select a template with _custom at the end, and the adsense will be removed, and replaced with the right sizes you've entered into the system. For existing domains, just select the new _custom template if you want to ditch adsense. And for my next trick, I'm currently making a bulk adding tool, so you can add in 50 domains at a time (handy if you want to quickly bring a network online! Or 50 uni.cc domains lol)
Well, 3 minutes ago I posted that I've just upgraded the system a bit, so yes I am www.gridproxy.com/platform - register and login and you'll see what it's all about.
It is ok now, but what if we want to use ad network (AdBrite) that requires us to create different ad code for each proxy site? I think it is better to have a different field, instead of the AdSense ID/channel field (when editing a domain), so we can enter different code for each and every domain. Optional extra would be to mention the available ad sizes for each template, so we can know what zone to create in our network. I am sorry if I am annoying, just giving suggestions for making your service better.
Adbrite doesnt require a different zone for each site, I've confirmed this with them, and I cant think of any other network that does if all the sites are proxies. IE with adbrite, make one zone of each size, then add them in. I'll try and make it custom for each site as well later on then Seriously though, I do appreciate feedback!
