I've heard Mesothelioma is the highest paying keyword, something around $40 a click on overture. Some other good ones are online casino and mortgage loans. Have you guys heard of any really high paying keywords? It's a funny idea to think about starting a site because the ads would pay so well, but its not a bad one.
Google heavily frowns on sites that are created solely for the purposes of displaying adsense ads. If you decide to do this, you'd better make a good site with good content or you'll wish you had.
I know, I know, if I were to create a site (which I'm not planning on it, I have about 17,000 other things I should do) it would have the best content I could possibly give. My point was that part of a business plan for a new website should probably include what the prospective ads pay that would be listed on the site and I think that is a funny way to think about a new site. If you're considering two different topics, the amount Google or Overture ads pay could swing you one way or the other. That's not how it came out in the 1st post, but that is what I meant.
I tested it out on a forum and google seems to not have many clients choosing to post ads on sites alone- they seem to keep the strictly on google. This is probably due to the fact that people would go out and create content for that reason- at $40 a click, it would be worth it to create a site and drive around from computer to computer or pay affiliates $4/click to click once a day otherwise- itd become lunacy.
you can't make good money without targeting high paying keywords if you can get lot of clicks for low paying keywords.
ahhhh but there is a not so hidden agenda by doing this which is not useless to keywordseo. keywordseo posts a word like "structured settlement" and then surrounds it with 3 Google ad boxes. Its clear that he/she is simply making a high paying keyword page for themselves rather than a content oriented directory of multitudes of keywords.
I read somewhere that they pays around $40 or more but when i made a website around the high paying keywords they are not paying that much. What can be the reason..Does content of the website/Pgae also affects pay per click? Does anyone of you have a website created around high paying keywords and giving you average >$5 per click. Thanx in advance. bbye
Read this post because there is a good explanation about top paying keywords and how they get their high bid in dollars. I've posted it on the second page: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=7823&page=3#post14430153
are you running a blog or news site?If you are running those I suggest to put an adsense ads every post and write an article about those high paying keywords you choose.
anything in the "debt" field has some very expensive keywords. i know because i'm in this industry. 10-$20 a click for your good keywords. 1-$10 a click for better than average keywords. I have seen some keywords as high as $30, but it fluctuates.
Content is the king so better first focus on content and then go for adsense. Banking sector specially insurance whether it is home, car, loan or any real estate keywords are the highest paying. you can use google keyword tool
