India vs Australia - Test Series Talk

India playing with more spinners because Aussies are weak against them and the wicket is better for spinners.

The sole proof of this is the 5 Wicket haul by our current skipper - Anil Kumble. Top notch bowling. The score of Aussies had been much lesser if the opening partnership would have been cut off.

Yes and India get the prize for it. I am sure Kumble and Harbhajan will play avital role in second innings too.

Well I don't think so we will have such a good batting lineup but future still good for India. At the moment only yuvraj fit with top batsmen but there are few good batsman like Rohit Sharma and Badrinath their take the place.

 

Great job by India. Restricting Australia under 400 runs is a tough job with out any doubt. Kumble is excellent as a captain and bowler

 

Well I must say, Hayden put on quite a show and Jaques along with Hayden put on quite a good opening partnership. I must however give credit to the Indian players for still coming back time after time. Zaheer's opening 5 overs or so were simply brilliant

 

Just got up and saw India on 102/3, Tendulkar reached 50 with a boundary.Hope he will score century as well.

 

Wel India started not good with batting after Zaheer rip the Aussi team. India started two slow cricket and at lunch India was 31/2 in 21 Over. But after Tendulkar comming runs comming good. One stage looks Laxman and Tenddulkar will provide a better partnship but Laxman gone.

At the moment India is 103/3 and partnship between Tendulkar and Ganguly is 48 Runs.

Sachin is on 52 Runes. In this innings he hitting 4 boundry's and 1 six.

 

Bradd hogg taking a beating,both Sachin and Ganguly hit him for six.

So far so good lol

 

Well India looks very good position at the moment and I am sure this two guys will stay on pitch till the day end.

Well as everyone feared Indians batting line once agian failed to take advantage of Bowlers best performance. Only Sachin and Ganguly performed well.

Latest Score: India 167/7.

I wish this two puts India over 200 and cut the lead under 100 Runs. A Kumble doing well a all-rounder performance and playing at 22 runs.

 

Now Score: India 187/8, Kumble - 23, Zahir - 9.
Hope they will make the score 220 - 240.

 

I had lot of hopes on Indian batting

 

All out now and Aus now have a 147 runs lead,looks like they will win easily.

 

India still has a chance to come back and fight i think.
They need at least 2 big partnership in the 2nd innings.

now all depends on how they play in the second innings! a target of 500 runs is expected now!

 

Still 3 days to go.. so Australia will try to make a big one on Day 3 and have 2 days more time to play with the Indians.. (loses hopes )

 

Well it wasn't good day for us and now we give them more than 100 runs lead. Still 3 days to go for match so Aussi surly put over 500 Runs target and hopefully they will declare the innings tomorrow.

If Indians comeback well and bowled Aussi in less than 200 runs than we have some chance of 1-0 up.

 

Australia are without doubt the best team in the world both at test level and the one day format it would be nice to see India give them a good fight.

I thought that after losing Warne and McGrath that the aussies might be weaker but they do not show any visible signs of being any lesser a side.

 

I thought India could at least have made around 300 runs but they failed in that. What they have to do tomorrow is, try to get wickets asap and all-out Australia within 200 - 250 runs and the next day, couple of Indian batsman has to play good innings if they need to win this match.
