I'm still de-indexed and it's been exactly two weeks. Just before the holidays - dman it! The PR went from 4 to 5 on the last update. The SERPs have gone...just gone. Back links have not changed so needless to say I'm very frustrated. However, Yahoo results are on the rise and nice. I'm also see a big influx of image/google/ referrers - anyone else notice that?
Hi GMO, based on what you have stated above. I would venture a guess that your issue is not tied to the issue that caused the penalties that I am currently unwinding for two of my clients. If you would like, send me your site via PM and I will take a look. I just checked one of my sites today and a large subdirectory of a established site just lost over 1,000 pages deindexed, now there is just 3 pages of the subdirectory indexed, while the main part of the site seem to be fine. I never lost so many pages in Google before...but I have not lost any ranking for my main target keywords I wonder what google is doing? I also just checked the competitive results for my target keywords, and the number of site results that appeared for my keywords dropped from 15,000,000 to just 3,000,000! Damn Google is deindexing a lot of sites!
almost all of my autoblogs seem to have been de-indexed in the last few weeks. SOme of them even have backlinks and PR. Guess I have to start making sites with QUALITY content....
One of my sites was banished on the 30th...hundreds of 1st page placements have vanished that were in place for over 10 months, so it seems I was also targeted...what advice is out there for this...should I wait, I am still indexed so reinclusion was not an option on my toolbars...what is the google reinclusion forum... thanls
Has anybody gotten out of this -50 Penalty yet !!! Valley, any new update from your side? My affected site went to a PR5 in this last PR update. Still has the -50 Penalty though!! I dont get it.
The Pagerank went up to PR6 on my effected site also, plus a boat load of internal PR. However my site isn't a -50 it's more like -5,050 making over 100,000 rankings vanish overnight. No it doesn't make sense, but at least the cloakers and scrapers appear to be doing well in the SERP's.
i haven't seen any PR changes to my sites since like 2 updates ago lol and that time one of my blogs were dropped from PR5 to PR3 and still is a PR3 my sites serps and indexed pages are back up tough - for all my sites in fact - my forum is still like 3k below its average
My website PR3 is going for a PR4 (some tools show PR3 some PR4) but still -50. As many say, PR has nothing to do with ranking. The last 2 months I've exchanged links with different anchor text but still nothing. The funny think is that this website had never had good ranking (-1000) for Yahoo! and MSN and since the G! de-indexing (December 2007) they are ranking on first and second place on Yahoo and MSN. Anyway I prefer to get back my good ranking on G!!! What are your suggestions? What exactly did occur that penalty? If you got back your good ranking what have you done?
I lost 20,000 indexed pages overnight for no reason at all. Now I'm being re-indexed. Yahoo performs better in indexing sites. Sad to note, people don't use Yahoo search.
I got like 10 websites deindexed........ was getting like $300 adsense daily and now $100. I'm starting to worry, a lot.
