Thanks for the very good info. Sorry but have some followup questions: 1) Any good, affordable proxy webhost you can recommend? 2) Are proxy sites allowed by Paypal especially if you sell links on the site and customer pays by Paypal? Would revenue from proxy sites be considered problematic or tainted?
I host my own proxy on my dedicated server. I'm sure you can find one around here on DP, but they may be a bit slow than usual. If you want I can host it temporarily or at least until I switch over to a faster dedicated. 2. Paypal doesn't care one bit about what you do, as long as you're making money and not stealing from people. Revenue is just that, revenue.
In this post I recomended one proxy hosting http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=5790340&postcount=3002 No problem with Paypal, proxies are legal bussines. EDIT, sorry I want answer to tradester
Any other host you recommend? what about go daddy? any hosting from there that would work? how much money would i make in a month on google adsense and adbrite? I would advertise a bit.
you can't use Godaddy long term ... you must pay some money if you want results , i had 4 accounts arround 3 - 4 $ month last 2 weeks ... all are down , don't work like this... the server will be slow or down , you must pay 7 - 10 $ for a shared plan, maybe a VPS or dedicated server if you want a serious business for the future...
i don't have nothing to recommend , now i'm trying this host : http://hostingspace4u.com/ i know unlimited isn't so good but the guy setup very fast my account and allowed me all my proxies ...when other not ...

I want to put ads (adbrite & widgetbucks) on the proxified pages of these two proxies (www.pruxu.info & www.trixu.info) can someone help me with some links for this issue or a response Thanks guys
Not true, i used to run an Escort Advertising site, where escorts would pay me $xxx paypal per month to post an ad with a clean pic and phone number and stuff like that. Paypal closed my account saying I was in violation of their TOS. They said my site was adult which is not allowed, but after many emails arguing and convincing them I was only an ad agency they opened my account again, but then I took paypal off my site.... So make a long story short...they do care where the money comes from, better check with them first. Jason
I dont know where the write up is but go to your index.php page and look for this code: . ' [go: <a href="' . $_script_url . '?' . $_config['url_var_name'] . '=' . encode_url($_url_parts['prev_dir']) .' ">up one dir</a>, <a href="' . $_script_base . '">main page</a>]' . '<br /> Code (markup): And enter your adbrite after that.... It should work find...same with your other ads...but dont do adsense.....
Let me change what I said as on second though I should've said it differently. Read the TOS and you'll be fine. Proxy link selling is not against their TOS so you'll be safe.
