Can you rank new sites top ten with seo? or it goes to a waiting period? (of course depending on competition and such but, I just need to know)
As you say, it of course depends on the competition, but yes new sites can be in the top ten results on the major search engines - I've personally had a domain that was less than two months old rank #1 on Google for what I'd consider a fairly competitive keyword.
technicaly, if it's not a competetive keyword, yes but google put a lot of weight on the site age, and this is one of the reasons why PR is not updated oftenly you should also read some stuff about the sand box effect there is a nice forum about it he on DP, check it out
My site Private Label Rights Club is nr 1 in Google for Private Label Rights Club in 2 weeks! You can, too!
IMO ranking depends on the competition of the KW that you are targeting, and it doesn't involve time frame coz new and old sites are treated the same by the SEs.. it's just a matter of how you do SEO
I had a site that got #1 in less than 10 days (the domain was about 3 weeks old). Almost no competition, with a couple of good backlinks. #1 for almost a year now
I bought a .com domain for two years through GoDaddy.com, then went to HostGator and setup a site using Wordpress. My keyword was my county with the word SEO consultant. Within 3 days I was in the top ten at #8. 2 weeks later i bumped to #2. I've also worked on real estate websites hosted by Advanced Access. One of my client's search phrases was used the keywords "granite countertops" and would return over 1 million results. Took a good 2-3 weeks but my client got #2 spot. So really theres no hard rule that says you'll end up in the sandbox for x amount of time. There are a lot more factors that go into it.... but even if it does take long, so what. Keep working on it. Sometimes a site just takes longer. Not all my sites rank or get crawled right away. In general I found that my sites which use a blogging platform tended to get crawled faster.
Yes it is possible, but you may also experience the initial testing that google does and ranks your site high to begin, but will then drop back down where you must climb your way back up. There are so many variables to give a definite answer to your situation, but yes, you can do it
yes , u just need some smart backlinks(with keyword anchor ), good keyword density quality content which is normally known as Offpage and onpage optimization or all seo :-s well its all about luck
I've done it in 2 weeks for a 45,000 search with a new website, but you do need to do some good SEO. I am now trying to see how quick I can get this new site with 1M competitors in top 20. 1 week later, it's nowhere in the search for its keyword ^^.
Yes. Here are a few tips on how to show up in the top 10 of Google, until your site becomes organically indexed: Consumer Product, Retail Site, or Service -Submit to Social Shopping websites like Wists, ThisNext, Kaboodle, Stylehive, DealPlumber. Be sure to one keyword or a phrase in the heading. Also include keywords in the description. Tag using top tag words from each social network site and pertinent keywords. Post daily for the first week and at twice per week thereafter. -Create a blog in wordpress or blogger using the keyword as the blog url and title. Post daily for the first week and at least twice per week thereafter. Get free article content from ezines, content syndicators, and feeds. Remember to post interesting and relative content. -Sumbit e-commerce site feed to Froogle. Good luck!
yes, its possible, u need good rank back link with keyword anchor. and also follow SEO tips/process. All d Best.
SEO process is so simple, Just follow basic guide lines to achieve rank in Top SERP's. When you are posting don't use URL only, Use Anchor link instead of that, if they allowed html , php or BB code than must use anchor link. Becuase in Major SE's will point to that site with your anchor. and would give you link as well as rich traffic, Theses how you can make third party referring link for website. Always consider to use target="_blank", like <a href="....." target="_blank"> Because might visit your link later on where it is already opened. otherwise he'll just came to the Original site where he was visiting. Best of Luck.
It depends on the competiton and many other factors. You need to build a good trust-rank with google, and a good aged domain would be great too. You will get out of the sandbox much quicker if you've built up a good trust-rank.
Yeah but how many traffic do you get? If he is chasing a competitive keyword, obviously it is impossible in 2 weeks. What I mean competitive is a keyword which has many searchers. All keywords which have more than 10,000 searchers per month in Google can be categorized as the competitive keywords. And of course, you need months except you have other sites which ranked well in the same niches
