live-cms_com can you suggest where i can buy wallpapers from as content to use with your script for example? ive been taking a look at your script. Or do people get hold of the wallpapers for free? either way i dont want to step on anyones toes with other peoples content, if i decide on setting up a site for this. Also are you still running the discount or has that finished?
I don't know of any places that sell wallpapers with rights to display it online. You can always hire people from places such as DeviantArt, or you can simply contact the wallpaper owners asking if you can display it (once again at places such as DeviantArt), or you can find wallpapers released under the Creative Commons license (not sure of the best way of doing this). Yes, you can still get the DP member discount.
I don't know exactly what kind of wallpaper site you're trying to create, so it's difficult to answer. But I'm also looking for a type of picture management application, and I just found out about Coppermine. I only took a look into it briefly, but this looks very very good.
